Choi "Zeus" Woo-je (born January 31, 2004) is a highly successful South Korean League of Legends player currently playing as a toplaner for Hanwha Life Esports. Zeus began his career in 2020 as a trainee on T1 Academy, where he impressed with his performance in the LCK Academy Series and helped the team secure its first tournament win. His skill earned him a promotion to T1's main roster in 2021, where he initially served as a backup to Canna. However, after Canna's departure in 2022, Zeus was promoted to the starting role, and his performance helped lead T1 to multiple championships, including an LCK Spring 2022 title and a runner-up finish at MSI 2022.
Zeus' career reached new heights in 2023, where he helped T1 secure their first World Championship title with a stand-out performance in the final, earning Finals MVP honors. His exceptional play and consistency continued to shine as T1 went on to dominate in the regular season and play through a successful World Championship run. Zeus was instrumental in T1's triumph, and his impact on the game was undeniable, helping the team secure a 3-0 victory in the finals against Weibo Gaming. He continued to build on his success in the 2024 season, though T1 faced several challenges, including DDoS issues and tough losses in both MSI and LCK playoffs.
After his contract with T1 expired in late 2024, Zeus made the decision to leave the organization. On November 20, 2024, it was announced that he would join Hanwha Life Esports, replacing Doran in the toplaner position. Joining a strong roster with players like Peanut, Zeka, Viper, and Delight, Zeus looks to continue his dominant career in the LCK, bringing his two World Championship titles and wealth of experience to Hanwha Life Esports.
