Counter-Strike 2 enjoyed a wildly successful Q2 this year. Not only did the Austin Major take place, which was the most-watched CS tournament ever, but various other content creator events and streams generated millions of Hours Watched (HW) for the game in livestreaming. With our partner Tradeit, Streams Charts breaks down the top Counter-Strike streamers for Q2 2025.
Top Counter-Strike 2 streamers of Q2 2025
A significant portion of the top Counter-Strike streamers for this quarter earned their watch time co-streaming esports matches, specifically the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025. Leading Brazilian co-streamer Alexandre “Gaules” Borba was the top creator for Q2 in 2025, having generated 19.42M HW across both his Twitch and YouTube multistreams. On top of his highly-watched Major streams, Gaules also broadcast other esports matches earlier in the quarter, and livestreamed re-runs between games. All of this contributed to his watch time for the quarter, which dwarfed all other streamers.
German content creator Mark “ohnePixel” Zimmermann was the next-most-watched creator for the quarter. Although not originally an esports co-streamer by trade, ohnePixel’s Counter-Strike streams for Q2 2025 were almost exclusively esports tournament co-streams. For his broadcast of the Major’s grand final, he received over 600K HW in a single broadcast: his best single-stream result of the quarter.
Max “Shadowkekw” Pavlov and Igor “SL4M” Sopov, who multi-streamed on Twitch and YouTube, are both top Russian-speaking creators, and Vadim “evelone2004” Kozakov was the top Ukrainian Counter-Strike streamer for Q2 2025. All of these streamers were highly watched thanks to interest from regional audiences in the Major — Russian and Ukrainian-speaking fans in particular had a varied choice of players and teams to support at the recent Austin event.
OhnePixel and evelone2004 reached new heights of popularity in Q2 2025, with ohnePixel even topping the charts overall by Peak Viewers (PV). The German streamer reached over 304K PV for his coverage of Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyljev’s return with FaZe Clan at IEM Dallas 2025. The Ukrainian player was still getting back into form at the Dallas tournament, but his presence alone boosted ohnePixel to a new channel record. Evelone2004 also reached his new viewership record, 231K PV, for a broadcast featuring s1mple: the star’s final match of the Austin Major, the quarterfinals against The MongolZ.
Other top creators by peak concurrent viewership for the quarter included Gaules’ (this time specifically his YouTube channel) broadcast of the Brazilian quarterfinal derby at the Major: paiN Gaming vs FURIA. Shadowkekw reached 288K PV for his coverage of the Major grand finals, and fellow Russian co-streamer Vyacheslav “buster” Leont'ev reached over 186K PV for Team Spirit’s championship at the PGL Astana 2025. Although none of these creators set new personal records during the quarter, they still stand at the forefront of viewership for some of Counter-Strike’s largest audiences.
Top female Counter-Strike 2 streamers of Q2 2025
North American streamer Rachell “Valkyrae” Hofstetter topped the viewership charts of female Counter-Strike 2 streamers for the quarter. Valkyrae generated over 723K Hours Watched thanks to her streams for the Roomie Rumble. The event was a four-week, multi-game tournament hosted by Valkyrie along with her other roommate streaming stars. Valkyrae’s practice games and official stream for the tournament helped her top the viewership charts far ahead of the competition.
In contrast to the top overall rankings, the top female CS streamers by total watch time did not represent esports co-streaming viewership. These top female streamers, who represent Chinese, Russian, Ukrainian, and English-speaking audiences, all preferred to play the game themselves rather than broadcast any esports event. CreamTheRabbit, a North American VTuber, was the only virtual creator to rank in these quarterly results.
In terms of peak viewership, the most-watched creator, Valkyrae, appeared in the middle of our top 5 ranking with 14.9K PV. The North American creator earned this PV on June 20, for a normal game of Counter-Strike. Creators behind Valkyrae in the ranking included Ukraine’s Julia “by_Owl” Ivleva and Dasha “yuuechka” Voskresenskaya from Russia. Again, these top female creators recorded their peak viewerships for their own gameplay, rather than co-streaming.
Emily “Emiru” Schunk was the second-most popular female Counter-Strike streamer of the quarter, having reached 25K PV for her POV of the AT&T Annihilator Cup. The event is well-known for bringing top streamers together to compete across multiple games, and together with her teammates Ludwig, Tyler1, Agent00, and Squeez, her coverage of the Counter-Strike portion was a top result for the livestreaming industry this quarter.
Emiru fell just behind the top female Counter-Strike streamer of Q2 2025, Amina “tenderlybae” Merzoeva from Russia. The livestreaming creator, with more than 1.57M followers on Twitch, held a special broadcast on April 5 in collaboration with popular Ukrainian streamer evelone2004. Thanks to a boost of viewership from his audience, tenderlybae was able to reach 26.4K PV and claim the top spot in this ranking.
Top Counter-Strike 2 streamers of Q2 2025 by Chat Engagement
Of course, raw viewership numbers are not the only metric to measure a streamer’s audience. On Twitch, Streams Charts can track the Engagement Rate in a streamer’s Chat, highlighting the percentage of viewers using the feature. For this metric, we excluded channels with under 500 Average Viewers (AV), or those that largely stream other titles instead of Counter-Strike. These channels might not record the highest viewership peaks for the quarter, but they hosted some of the most engaging CS2 content on Twitch for the past three months.
Leading the top of the ranking, Trottah is a North American Counter-Strike esports co-streamer, and his broadcasts throughout Q2 this year received just over 500 Average Viewers. The esports caster was highly active throughout the quarter, streaming hundreds of hours; nevertheless, roughly one-third of his viewership engaged with his stream through Chat, a step above the competition here.
Pedro “x9nium” Gómez Pontón and Alex “Mauisnake” Ellenberg are also Counter-Strike esports co-streamers, coming from Spain and the United States, respectively. Both of these streamers/commentators worked at the recent Austin Major; x9nium was an official Spanish commentator for the tournament, and Mauisnake was one of the English-language broadcast Analysts.
Finishing up the rankings, zibert1715_ is a Ukrainian streamer trying to climb the competitive Counter-Strike scene with broadcasts of matches in smaller tournaments, and ROMANREDDER is a Russian creator known for his case-opening streams.
