Livestream Statuses Analytics by Streams Charts

Livestream Statuses Analytics by Streams Charts
Share:

Choosing the right title for a livestream is just as crucial as the content itself, a fact well-understood by most streamers. To attract a new audience, capturing their interest with a high-quality broadcast is essential. However, the first step is getting viewers to click into your stream, where a well-crafted title plays a pivotal role.

At Streams Charts, we recognize the critical role of livestream titles, and some of our features and tools are designed to enhance this aspect of livestreaming. Today, we'll delve into how and why analyzing stream titles is important in the full assessment of broadcast performance.

Streamers often broadcast a diverse range of content during livestreams. They might begin with gaming, transition into a talk show format, react to various media, and conclude with real-life outdoor activities. While some viewers are open to any content (especially loyal fans), many tune in for specific types. Analyzing how each segment performs helps identify which content segments resonate most with the audience.

Advanced Metrics for Chat Analytics

Let's take a look at Baiano as an example. One of his June streams lasted nearly 17 hours, during which his statuses within the broadcast changed regularly. The Brazilian content creator streamed numerous League of Legends esports matches, including the CBLOL premier division, its Academy League, the Chinese LPL, and ended by replaying the stream.

It's thanks to these statuses that we can assess the performance of different segments of the stream, not just by basic viewership metrics, but also by more advanced ones that indicate engagement and overall audience activity during the broadcast.

With an active PRO subscription and the purchased Advanced Stream Statuses add-on, you can view detailed statistical data of your stream across different statuses. This incredibly convenient feature allows you to compare the success of different segments of the stream, from overall audience size to their engagement in chat interactions.

In the status block, you'll find both the basic set of parameters (Hours Watched, Peak Viewers, Average Viewers, Airtime) and additional ones, such as Estimated Audience (total audience size during a segment of the stream), the proportion of Authorized Viewers, the number of chatters and the engagement rate, which indicates how involved the audience is.

Sorting broadcasts by title

As co-casting of various events in live streaming becomes more prevalent, the importance of quickly locating all such streams to gather overall viewership statistics increases. It's well-known that different gaming showcases are covered not only on official channels by organizers but also by independent streamers who want to explore new releases themselves and introduce them to their audience.

You can also find all such streams on Streams Charts. With an active PRO subscription, visit streamscharts.com/streams and enter one or multiple tags to sort streams. Finding all streams related to TwitchCon, Nintendo Direct, LEC co-streams, and more is incredibly easy! Additionally, you can also utilize this functionality for free. In that case, you can enter just one tag to find streams where it's mentioned. Streams Titles Checker Similarly to the Brand Chat Analyzer, Streams Charts has also implemented a tool called Titles Checker. Essentially, it serves the same function but instead of analyzing chats, it evaluates stream titles.

With this tool, you can easily find all sponsored integrations of a brand, locate all streams related to a specific event (for example, find talk shows discussing Euro 2024 or Copa America), identify all co-casters of a particular esports tournament, and much more.

In addition to general statistics, the tool's page also includes sections with advanced analytics. Specifically, you can find overall viewership metrics for channels with specific keywords mentioned in titles, as well as a breakdown by platforms over the last month.

The page also includes pie charts covering viewership of top streams by games and languages, along with lists of best-performing channels and individual broadcasts.
