Twitch Teams allow streamers from within the community to share their viewer base and collaborate more efficiently with one another. The top Twitch teams of the year are a diverse group; esports organizations, talent agencies, esports broadcasting, and streamer fan groups make up some of the most successful teams of the year.

For this article, we collated two rankings for the year's top teams: one ranking of all teams by overall watch time, and another focusing on the esports organizations behind some of the most popular esports content on Twitch.
The most watched Twitch team of the year was Loaded, a talent agency representing some of the most famous names on the purple platform. Loaded has world-famous streamers like shroud, summit1g, tarik, and LIRIK signed to their team, all of whom contributed significantly to the agency’s watch time for the year. In total, Loaded generated 277.6M Hours Watched in 2023: a slight increase compared to their 2022 viewership, but enough to launch them up 3 spots in this ranking and claim the top rank.
GG Talent Group, another talent agency, claimed the second spot on this ranking, moving up 14 places compared to the 2022 rankings. The talent organization represents streamers from around the globe, and almost 100 channels broadcasted as part of their team in 2023 — more than double the number of channels associated with Loaded. GG Talent Group generated 167.2M Hours Watched, significantly less than the number one group but still a substantial amount of watch time.
In third place was OTK, One True King, a streamer group and media organization featuring some of the most popular North American streamers on Twitch. Zackrawrr, sodapoppin, Mizkif, and many more famous names in the Twitch community make up OTK, and their Twitch Team generated 154.5M Hours Watched in the year: highly impressive considering the team’s watch time was made up of only 12 channels. OTK featured the highest average watch time per channel in a team in this ranking at 12.8M+ Hours Watched per channel.
Moving down out of the podium places, G FUEL was next in line with 150.7M HW generated. The self-proclaimed “official energy drink of esports” was previously the top-ranked Twitch team in 2022, but lost 52% of their watch time when comparing 2023 to the previous year. The energy drink Twitch team had over 500 channels broadcast under their team in 2023, far more than any other team in this ranking but more than 100 teams fewer than was recorded for 2022.
TSM is the first esports organization Twitch team of this ranking, and the North American organization moved up 4 places compared to last year. Although TSM is an esports organization, they did not have only esports players representing their brand on Twitch. Jinnytty, fanfan, and pokelawls are just some of the content creators associated with the org, but their most watched creator remains TSM_ImperialHal, their world champion Apex Legends player.
Riot Games ranks 6th on the top Twitch teams of 2023, having earned 146.8M HW in the year. The Riot Games Twitch team is for all official broadcasts of their events in various esports disciplines. The international Riot Games account was the most popular of these, but channels for regional leagues within League of Legends like the LEC (EMEA) and LCK (Korea) channels, as well as channels for Valorant such as VALORANT_BR and VALORANT_EMEA were sizable contributors to the total watch time of the team.
INSIGHT enjoyed the best glow-up story of all of these Twitch teams, moving up 28 places this year to land as the 7th most watched team of the year. The team is a talent agency which represents some of the most popular German-language creators on Twitch, some of them esports-affiliated and some not. The agency garnered 139.4M Hours Watched in the year and represents the viewership potential of the German live streaming sector in comparison to North American viewership.
Finishing up these rankings were the Twitch Ambassadors, Tribo Gaules, and Team Liquid Twitch teams: all of which received similar watch time. Twitch Ambassadors edged out the others for 8th, with 134.34M HW accumulated. The team is an official Twitch program designed to empower and support a diverse range of creators on Twitch. Tribo Gaules is a group of Brazillian creators united under the well-known Counter-Strike broadcaster Gaules, he himself contributed over 108M of the total Hours Watched accumulated by his team.
In last place was the official Team Liquid Twitch team, but let’s take a look at this group more closely in conjunction with our top 10 most watched esports organizations’ Twitch teams in the year.

Team Liquid ranked as the second-most watched esports Twitch team of the year, falling just behind TSM. For fans of League of Legends, Valorant, or Counter-Strike, it might surprise them to learn that Team Liquid’s most popular game category in the year was actually World of Warcraft.
Team Liquid has a rich history in WoW, and their viewership distribution represented this. A common factor among many esports organizations in this ranking is that they will receive a large chunk of their watch time from esports-related categories, usually with one category contributing a large chunk to their total watch time.
Sentinels was the third-most watched esports organization Twitch team of the year, having collected 118.3M Hours Watched throughout the year. Unsurprisingly for those familiar with Sentinels, Valorant was by far their most watched category of the year, and the category was responsible for over 71% of the total watch time accumulated by the team. Tarik was the most popular creator associated with Sentinels, although the organization also featured fewer esports-connected creators, such as 39daph.
LOUD, the beating heart of esports in Brazil, finished 4th in this ranking. The Brazillian organization accumulated 105.2M HW in the year, although their most popular category of the year was Grand Theft Auto V. LOUD has various content creators associated with their brand on Twitch, and many of these do not focus on streaming esports content. However, LOUD still received a significant amount of watch time from Valorant in 2023.
Cloud9 and Luminosity Gaming both generated similar watch times throughout 2023 and by similar means. Although both are esports organizations, they generated their watch time through a diverse range of content creators under their banner, rather than strictly focusing on esports content. The international nature of the creators representing these organizations helps expand their brand’s reach and introduce them to a wider array of demographics.
Compared to these international organizations, the remaining four esports Twitch teams of this ranking focused more on singular demographics. DeToNator is a smaller Japanese organization, and the entirety of their watch time from the year came from Japanese creators. Fps_shaka, one of the most well-known creators from the land of the Rising Sun, was accountable for over 94.8% of the total watch time accumulated by the organization. DeToNator had only 10 channels under their Twitch team in 2023, but fps_shaka’s high watch time was enough to catapult them ahead of the competition.
ZETA DIVISION is another Japanese organization, but they featured many more creators under their banner and did not receive such a huge chunk of their total viewership from one creator. League of Legends was their most popular category of the year, although GTA V was close behind. The esports organization also heavily featured creators from various disciplines, such as Valorant, Street Fighter 6, Apex Legends, and Overwatch 2.
Heretics and FOKUS are the final two organizations of this ranking, and both of them represent mainly monolingual European demographics of streamers. FOKUS represented German-speaking streamers whereas Heretics focused on Spanish-speaking creators. Both of these organizations have exceptions to this monolingual rule, but generally, their content was generated from these specific demographics.
The most watched Twitch teams of each year is a volatile ranking. As streamers join and leave teams, collaborate, and evolve their content the viewership associated with their Twitch teams is always changing. None of the top 3 overall Twitch teams of 2023 were featured in the top 3 during 2022, and Team Liquid in 10th place was the only team to hold onto the same ranking as in 2022.
