Tobias "Tubbo" Smith has finally revealed what he has planned for his fourth annual subathon, which he holds each year to celebrate the month he hit his peak concurrent viewership record. The British online personality is organising a three-day Streamer Bootcamp, which began on March 20, involving multiple streamers and professional teams as they battle it out for bragging rights.
The Minecraft star is one of the most popular content creators to emerge from Great Britain over the past decade. His exploits in the sandbox game have ensured that he has consistently ended among the island's most in-demand streamers, with 8.68 million Hours Watched (HW) in 2024 putting him among its most-watched internet stars for the year.
Tubbo, whose Twitch broadcasts reached a peak of 342,198 viewers in March 2021, is conducting this esports event, which many have labelled a mix of gaming and a reality show, in partnership with Red Bull. Interestingly, it is also being broadcast live on the popular TwitchRivals channel.
What is Tubbo's Streamer Bootcamp all about?
This esports event is being held from March 20 to 23, bringing together various streamers to collaborate and improve. They will compete against professional teams, with the focus on determining which team shows the most progress during the boot camp.
A total of 15 influencers are currently in action, with the teams divided as such:
Team 1
- Anthony "Couriway" Salzarulo
- Lewis"Fulham" Fulham
- Courtney "Hollsbeauti" Shepherd
- Lydia "100 Thieves lidyuh" Wilson
- Owen "OwengeJuiceTV" Daughtery
Team 2

What is interesting is that these three teams are getting trained by professional coaches and are competing in three games: Valorant (Day 1), League of Legends (Day 2), and Minecraft (Day 3). The coaches for the first day are Tanishq "Tanizhq" Sabharwal, Isot_111, and NovakleVLR.
There are additional features like rewards and penalties that will be linked to each team's performance. For those interested in catching all the action, the entire event is being co-casted by Tubbo, Kyle "Codycasts" Mullings, and Jvck.
The boot camp is being held at the prominent Red Bull Arena, in London, with the participating content creators staying and playing at this venue over the three days. Teams can progress in the event by competing against actual professional esports sides, with the best team emerging as the victor at the end.
The first day of action was ongoing at the time of writing with fans witness to plenty of intense action in Riot Games' hero shooter. It remains to be seen which team comes out on top after the third day, but for now, viewers can treat themselves to another streamer-led gaming event that is sure to attract decent attention over the next few days.
