Throughout 2025, the livestreaming industry continued to grow and appeal to a global, diverse range of viewers. Many new creators popped up all across the globe and plenty of smaller creators made big leaps forward, stepping into the limelight. As part of our yearly recaps and reports, Streams Charts presents some of the most exciting breakout streamers of 2025.
Many creators made jumps forward thanks to leveraging multistreaming and other social media platforms this year. Building an audience on a short-form content platform like TikTok and then making the jump to livestreaming is becoming an increasingly popular option for those looking to dive into streaming, but of course, other pathways are open too.
The breakout and debutant streamers in this list came from a variety of backgrounds. Streamers made use of sports or music histories, collaborated with friends and family who have established careers in livestreaming, and as always, showed off their personality in the Just Chatting section.
In this article, Streams Charts has highlighted some of the breakout stars who made headlines throughout the year. Some of these creators were already recognised for their growth at awards ceremonies like The Streamer Awards here, but many others joined the fray in 2025, too.
Sakurashymko
Sakura "sakurashymko" Shymko is a Canadian streamer and content creator who has experienced a rapid surge in popularity for the latter half of 2025. Sakura has been streaming on-and-off for years, but 2024 marked a more consistent stream schedule for her, and in 2025, she reached over 53,000 Peak Viewers on her Twitch channel.

Sakura Shymko is the sister of popular Valorant creator Kyedae “Kyedae” Shymko, who has dominated the Valorant cultural sphere for years. Sakura hosted collaborative streams with her sister on Twitch to great success, earning a solid influx of viewers from her sister's presence. However, Sakura’s collaborations with her sister would not be her most popular partnerships of her career.
In June 2025, Sakura Shymko was invited to an event called Streamer Prom by ex-FaZe streamer JasonTheWeen. The two attended the event together, and afterwards, began collaborating more and more. Eventually, the two would start dating, and now, they are one of America’s most popular streamer couples.
Sakura Shymko has quickly climbed the ranks on Twitch to become one of the platform’s most popular Just Chatting streamers. Throughout 2025, she received tens of thousands of concurrent viewers for collaborations with other creators, and her own IRL and Just Chatting content.
Previously, she did stream her fair share of Valorant, following in her sister’s footsteps, but the latter half of the year saw her focus more concretely on the Just Chatting section. This shift coincided with the explosive growth generated for her by the Streamer Prom, and her capitalizing on this new audience.
RealKatieB
Katie "RealKatieB" is a North American Twitch streamer and TikToker who broke out into the streaming scene in the second half of 2025. Towards the end of 2024, Katie began leveraging TikTok for stream highlights, where she rapidly found an audience for this short-form content. Currently, she boasts over 1,000,000 followers on the mobile app.

Converting success on other social media into livestreaming results can be challenging, but Katie has managed to rapidly grow her brand on Twitch. Compared to the year before, when she was averaging well under 100 viewers, her streams at the end of 2025 averaged thousands of concurrent viewers.
Katie’s success on Twitch also tied into collaborative streams with other North American creators. Her gaming streams with other creators in July were especially popular, including VanillaMace, another breakout creator who we’ll look at below.
For her consistent output of content and streams throughout the year, Katie was nominated for the Rising Star Award at The Streamer Awards. She also received a nomination for Best Battle Royale Streamer — Katie had never played Fortnite and learned it live on stream, building a narrative for fans to follow through her songs.
Vanillamace
Emily "vanillamace" is a North American streamer who enjoyed one of the most rapid rises of the year. After building a small but consistent audience for herself in 2024 — roughly 300 Average Viewers for a stream — she made the plunge into full-time content creation for 2025. Since then, she has gained over 680,000 Twitch followers.

Vanillamace is well-known for her viral moments on TikTok, where she now boasts 4.8M followers. Throughout 2025, she gained millions of followers on the platform, and has been converting this success to results on Twitch. Quitting her old job has clearly worked out for the streamer, who now enjoys thousands and thousands of viewers.
Her broadcasts throughout 2025 largely focused on Just Chatting content, but she also explored many different categories throughout the year —- in 2025, she broadcasted in over 400 different categories on Twitch. Her most popular content of the year covered large-scale streamer events, such as her watch party for the Streamer Games or her recap of The Streamer Awards, where she was nominated for Best Breakout Streamer and The Sapphire Award.
AverageHarry
Harry "AverageHarry" Tornado is an English Twitch streamer who made massive bounds and leaps in his career this year, especially in livestreaming. The creator is friends with some of the UK’s top creators, and collaborations with these streamers has seen him enjoy strong viewership peaks.

Harry has been actively creating content on YouTube the past years. He has also streamed on Twitch before 2025, but this year marked his most significant growth and strongest dedication to livestreaming. A blend of Just Chatting and gaming content, Harry focuses on a wide variety of content and never lets things get stale.
AverageHarry’s ascent highlights the growing global relevance of the UK streaming scene, which continues to produce creators capable of competing at an international level. If his current momentum holds, 2025 is likely to be remembered as the year he firmly established himself among Twitch’s upper tier of personalities.
Marlon
Marlon "Marlon" Lundgren Garcia is a Swedish influencer, streamer, and basketball player. He originally moved to the US for basketball, and since has become one of the country’s fastest-growing online stars. By the end of 2024, Marlon was averaging roughly 500 Average Viewers and boasted 70,000 Followers; a year later, he had 1.68M Twitch followers and earned over 10,000 Average Viewers for some streams.

His content is largely centered around Just Chatting, often in multi-creator formats that generate high peak concurrent viewership and enable viewers to easily explore new creators. These appearances resulted in rapid follower growth, with Marlon frequently converting temporary exposure into sustained increases in average viewers. His deepest expansion into gaming content came with Minecraft, which he streamed 76 hours of in 2025 — for reference, he spent over 1,380 hours in the Just Chatting section.
As collaborative livestreaming remains one of Twitch’s dominant content formats in 2025, Marlon’s ability to thrive in these environments positions him well for continued relevance. He was nominated for the Rising Star Award at The Streamer Awards 2025, as well as Best Stream Duo with Nick “Lacy” Fosco.
Quvonn Rakai "2xRaKai" Linder
Quvonn "2xRaKai" Rakai Linder is a North American Twitch streamer who is only 17 years old. The creator started finding his success at the young age of 16, and currently, he boasts over 1.8M Followers on Twitch. His high-energy broadcasts and association with the streamer group Clover Boys saw him enjoy his most successful year in livestreaming yet.

Although 2xRakai did not stream as much in 2025 as some other full-time creators, he still earned millions of hours watch time, largely through his Just Chatting broadcasts. Although the streamer is no stranger to experimenting with variety gameplay content, his Just Chatting and IRL content remain by far his most popular flavour.
RaKai’s popularity has only grown through association with the Clover Boys, including industry titan Kai Cenat and other popular creators. RaKai has also been making heavy use of Instagram and TikTok throughout 2025, creating short-form content which can attract new attention and translate into livestreaming success.
Darryl "DDG" Dwayne Granberry Jr.
Darryl "DDG" Dwayne Granberry Jr. is a North American rapper and entrepreneur whose expansion into livestreaming made him one of the most high-profile crossover creators of 2025. DDG has been active in livestreaming since before 2025, but that year marked a major commitment to the industry, one which was paid back tenfold by fans.

Leveraging an already massive following from his music career, DDG’s Twitch career immediately enjoyed support from thousands of fans. His popularity has only grown since, and during 2025, he reached a peak viewership of over 207,000 concurrent viewers for his Day 3 broadcast of Kai Cenat’s Streamer University.
DDG’s blend of modern streaming content with his musical background made him one of the most eye-catching streamers of the year. While his music content is popular, he mostly streams under the Just Chatting section, where he maintained over 15,000 Average Viewers for the entire year. He was also nominated twice at The Streamer Awards, for Best Music Streamer and Best Breakout Streamer.
DDG’s success illustrates the accelerating convergence of traditional entertainment and livestreaming. As more musicians and public figures experiment with live platforms, his 2025 performance stands as a benchmark for how pre-existing fame can convert into sustained livestreaming audiences.
SachaUzumaki
Carlos "SachaUzumaki" Cesar is a Spanish-language Twitch streamer from Peru whose accelerated growth in 2025 has positioned him as one of the platform’s more notable emerging creators within the Latin American ecosystem. While active on Kick in 2024, his channel recorded sharp increases in viewership as his content reached broader audiences.

His broadcasts focus primarily on Just Chatting, with a strong emphasis on direct audience interaction. With Spanish-speaking audiences continuing to represent one of livestreaming’s fastest-growing segments, especially on Kick,SachaUzumaki’s rise reflects broader regional trends. If current growth patterns continue, he is well positioned to further strengthen his presence within Twitch’s global creator landscape throughout 2025.
After a major year for the livestreaming, breakout and debutant streamers are the beating heart of the industry, the next up-coming celebrities and platform-leading creators. From new creators emerging by leveraging other social media platforms and making use of their past experiences, 2025 once again showed how diverse and open the livestreaming industry is.
