February may be the shortest month of the year, but it still brought notable shifts for Kick. As expected, the platform saw declines in key metrics like watch time, alongside a noticeable drop in streamer activity compared to January. However, there were bright spots: content diversity improved, and average viewership continued its steady upward trend.
The sharpest decline came in peak viewership, which dropped by a staggering 33%. January’s numbers were boosted by the hugely successful Kings World Cup Nations 2025 tournament, and without a comparable event in February, the platform’s peak audience took a noticeable hit.
Despite the decline in peak viewership, streamers expanded into more categories and games, pushing the platform’s diversity metric up by 2%. Even more notably, the platform’s average audience reached a new all-time high, rising by another 1% from January.
Streaming categories saw little change, with the top five remaining the same. IRL experienced the most significant decline in watch time, allowing Slots & Casino and Grand Theft Auto to catch up.
The Kings League category, home to the Kings World Cup Nations 2025 event, fell out of the top ten. In its place, Rust entered the rankings, a longtime favorite among roleplay streamers.
Colombian streamer Stiven "MrStiventc" Caicedo dethroned his compatriot Luis "WestCol" Álvarez as the most-watched Kick creator in February. During the month, he traveled across South America, making stops in Peru, Argentina, Ecuador, and more. His diverse content not only boosted his viewership but also made him the platform's fastest-growing streamer, with over 100,000 new followers.
Another standout in the top ten was Hani "Absi" Al-Qablan, who saw his viewership surge by nearly 50% in February. His diverse gaming content kept audiences engaged, featuring everything from competitive titles like Counter-Strike and PUBG Mobile to more relaxed experiences like GTA RP.
Adin Ross dominated the list of most popular streams in February by concurrent viewership. While he no longer streams as often or as long as before, his ability to attract massive peak audiences proves he remains the face of Kick. His boxing event, Brand Risk #4, pulled in over 220,000 concurrent viewers, securing his spot at the top.
As highlighted in our February Twitch recap, we’re now using the average concurrent viewership metric for female streamers. By this metric (and others), Alondra "Alondrissa" Michelle has firmly established herself as the platform's queen, with nearly 19,000 concurrent viewers on average per stream. She’s almost twice as ahead of her closest competitors.
