Kick in March 2025: New all-time platform records

Kick keeps improving its audience performance every month, and March 2025 was no exception. The platform hit all-time highs in three key metrics. Most notably, for the first time ever, it surpassed 300 million Hours Watched (HW) in a single calendar month.

Stake-backed streaming platform Kick saw growth across all key metrics in March compared to February. Peak viewership and total watch time surged by over 20%. Streamers were also more active, with a 6% increase in both the number of active channels and the variety of streaming categories.

Alongside setting a new monthly HW record, Kick also achieved its highest-ever average concurrent viewership, with over 443,000 viewers on the platform at any given moment throughout March.

Just Chatting continued to extend its dominance among Kick’s streaming categories. Its watch time surged by over 33% in March, widening its lead over Grand Theft Auto V, which overtook IRL and Slots & Casino.

The gap between the most popular categories and the rest remains substantial. The lower half of the rankings often shifts based on top streamers’ content choices. In February, some focused on RP content in Rust, while in March, Counter-Strike saw a surge in popularity.

By March’s end, Influencer City surged from ninth to first place in Kick’s channel rankings. The channel streams a viral reality show where contestants live together and compete in elimination challenges. While this format had been popular before, it truly took off on the platform this month.

The channel rankings showcased impressive diversity, with top creators hailing from the Middle East, South America, North Africa, and the U.S. Among individual streamers, Jordan creators Hani "absi" Al-Qabian and Maher "Maherco" Sultani stood out, gaining success through PUBG Mobile content and their love for GTA and CS.

Unlike categories, the streamer rankings on Kick are typically more dynamic and fluid, with it being quite common for the top streamers from one month to fall significantly in the rankings the following month.

In terms of viral content, only six streamers managed to attract a six-figure concurrent viewership in March. The most popular stream was hosted by Stiven "MrStivenTC" Caicedo, who pulled in over 182,000 concurrent viewers for his watch party celebrating the viral influencer fight in Peru.

The second most popular stream of the month was also centered around fights: Adin Ross, who is now focused on growing his own fighting promotion, Brand Risk, hosted another stream and drew just slightly fewer viewers than MrStivenTC.

In general, it's important to note that the top streamers are often those who organize watch parties for viral events (like the Kings League) or RP content, which has become especially popular among Spanish-speaking Kick viewers.

Alondra "Alonddrissa" Michelle continues to dominate among female streamers, leading in both average viewership and follower growth. One of the most popular types of content on her channel is movie watch parties, which regularly attract over ten thousand viewers

Overall, female streamers from Spain and South America continue to dominate the rankings, with 9 out of the top 10 spots taken by creators from Puerto Rico, Peru, Spain, and the Dominican Republic.
