Top Asian streamers of 2025

Top Asian streamers of 2025

While Asian livestreaming in 2025 saw many familiar names continue to put in the hard yards to entertain their legions of fans, a few new names also emerged to shake up the scene. Another popular segment, Virtual YouTubers (VTubers), continued to shine, with the genre's top stars pushing each other to deliver more quality content and keep their fans engaged throughout.

Asian streamers use crypto naturally. Top creators show Bitcoin Esports betting during broadcasts. 1xBit sponsors entire tournament watch parties. This crypto Esports betting feels normal in markets where people use digital currency more. Esports betting bitcoin is a basic feature, not something new.

Fledgling contenders among platforms like SOOP Korea and CHZZK attracted more viewership as their streamers adopted varying content to entice and grow their audiences. This helped add diversity to our top ten Asian creators rankings, although multistreaming across platforms, which is quickly being adopted by creators in many other regions, remains in the minority.

Note: The numbers have been updated to reflect the entire 2025's stats for these channels.

Note that these rankings do not take into account Chinese livestreaming platforms due to the unreliability of their data. Moreover, we have not considered streamers from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region as their development and influence on today's livestreaming space warranted a separate list.

Japanese influencers continued to be among the top names when it came to watch time last year, led by two Twitch superstars in Junichi "加藤純一うん〇ちゃん" Kato and Chikara "fps_shaka" Kawakami. Both have legitimate claims to being the platform's biggest content creators from Asia, consistently finishing among its 100 most-watched names over the past few years.

Having branched out into entrepreneurship in 2025, including joining the Kings League universe as Japan's representative, Junichi enjoyed a slight increase in his yearly watch time as his content became more diverse. Among games, he also favoured shooters a lot, broadcasting Valorant and Overwatch 2 the most, including their renowned events like the Valorant Challengers 2025 Japan.

Shaka, meanwhile, was a lot less active, dividing time between his livestreaming duties, hosting events and being a brand ambassador for various brands. He did, however, continue to promote Street Fighter 6 extensively and hosted/participated in tournaments such as LEGENDUS, Red Bull Home Ground 2025, and a Final Fantasy XIV event organized by K4sen.

VTubers Pekora Ch. and Miko Ch. were also part of this top-ten leaderboard, with their rivalry always pushing them to be better than the previous day. Both Hololive influencers, among the most popular female streamers, have had nearly identical performance metrics in 2025. Their content followed the same pattern: audience interactions during roleplay-heavy gaming sessions in popular games like Grand Theft Auto V and Minecraft.

The broadcasts of Vietnamese influencers Phùng "MixiGaming" Thanh Do and Phan "Thầy Giáo Ba" Tan Trung on NimoTV put them among the most-watched Asian content creators in 2025. In fact, MixiGaming even multistreamed on YouTube, where his thousands of subscribers followed and helped put two of his channels on the top-20 leaderboard.

We also have to mention korekore_ch, one of the biggest Kick names in Japan and a trailblazer for the platform in the Land of the Rising Sun. One of the Stake-backed platform's fastest-growing names, he continues to bank on the winning formula of a unique "dark news" format, where he covers real-time social media controversies, offers live advice and even mediates online disputes during his streams.

Representing India are Pandit Pradeep Ji Mishra Sehore Wale and Iqbal Sports, who represent two of its biggest communities. The former is a highly sought-after spiritual speaker and religious exponent who has burst onto the YouTube scene with his daily sermons and hymns. The latter is a cricket analytics channel run by Mohammed Iqbal, with the game's massive popularity in the South Asian country allowing creators like him to provide in-depth analysis and insightful commentary, including during live matches.

SOOP Korea, building on the gains made in last year's rankings, finds three representatives on this list. Lee "이상호" Sang-ho, Kim "봉준" Bong-jun and Kim "김민교." Min-kyo remain among the platform's biggest names in South Korea, with their content representing diverse segments and genres in the field.

이상호, a renowned League of Legends esports caster and manager, and 김민교. maintained their statuses as Asia's top LoL co-casters by broadcasting top esports tournaments. 봉준, meanwhile, was a lot more diverse in his livestreaming choices, playing numerous titles like Grand Theft Auto V and Minecraft alongside LoL.

None of the entries, dominated by YouTube, touched the one million Peak Viewers (PV) mark, although we can see that a lot of channels from India achieved high numbers at a single point during their livestreams. These channels represent different fields and communities, reflecting the diverse cultures and trends that we see across Asia every year.

The leader among streamers for 2025 by peak concurrent viewership was Pandit Pradeep Ji Mishra. The religious figure nearly touched 900,00 PV during a special recitation of hymns for one of the Hindu religion's most revered gods in July. This broadcast ended up becoming his second most popular one ever.

The popular Indonesian social media personality, content creator, and entrepreneur, Yoshua "celloszxz" Marcellos, is second. He usually covers sports and lifestyle events, and a June livestream of the popular Indonesian combat sports event featuring participants from across Asia, Byon Combat Showbiz Volume 5, peaked at just over 899,000 viewers.

Continuing YouTube's dominance, the popular Indian yoga trainer and entrepreneur, Saurabh Bothra, ranks third. The certified Level 3 Yoga Instructor is known for founding the online wellness platform Habuild, which makes yoga accessible globally. It was one such initiative from this company on International Yoga Day 2025 that reached 746,883 PV, as it created an official world record for the largest online yoga class ever, drawing 750,074 participants from 169 countries.

Two Indian channels dealing in online education, which has become one of the largest business segments in the country, also cracked this leaderboard. Exphub 9th &10th is run by Prashant Kirad, who aims to help higher-education students score at least 95% via free lectures, mentorship, tests and discussion of the most expected questions using his channel.

Maths By Shobhit Nirwan, meanwhile, is run by an educator of the same name, and his goal is to spread the love of mathematics among his millions of students and subscribers. Lastly, Alakh Pandey - Class 10 is another popular tuition teacher/YouTuber who teaches ninth and tenth graders the science subject.

Other entries here include names from the YouTube Gaming sphere, including Aman "SoulAman" Jain, one of India's biggest gaming creators, who is signed with one of the nation's biggest esports organizations, S8UL Esports. The official channel of Indonesian pro boxer Paris Pernandes was also part of the top ten, hitting almost 700,000 PV during a livestream of his fight with Rudy Agustian as part of the Holywings Sport Show card in November.

The above rankings display just how varied the Asian livestreaming segment can be, with different nations favouring different types of content. Japan remains the top dog, while Korean streamers on SOOP continued their steady rise towards becoming some of the region's most-watched names. Lastly, multistreaming is yet to make a splash here, but the scene has shown the value of a loyal fanbase that sticks with its favourite streamers through thick and thin, and across platforms.
