Most watched sponsored Twitch streams in February 2023
The biggest sponsored Twitch stream from last month was from the Fextralife community — a popular name for gaming broadcasts — who joined up with Warner Bros. to promote the much-anticipated Hogwarts Legacy. The stream did 1 million Hours Watched, thanks in no small part to Twitch drops for in-game items, ultimately gaining 368K Unique Authorized Viewers. This follows their successful sponsored stream of Eversoul that took fourth place on this list in January.

In second place was IlloJuan, who tested the first two hours of Electronic Arts’ revamped Dead Space, released in January. The Spanish internet personality also played Hogwarts Legacy during this stream, leading to a huge 77K Peak Viewers over an Airtime of just 10h 48m. The creator also managed 310K UAV, and despite streaming for about a fourth of the time Fextralife did, he produced amazing numbers, proving how popular the game remains with fans.
Next comes another famous name, alanzoka, the second person on this list to tie up with Warner Bros. to facilitate Hogwarts Legacy. The highly popular Portuguese-speaking streamer notched 216K UAV and had the highest engagement rate of 11.21% among the five names on this list. This means that 11 in every 100 unique viewers tuned in to his chat every time he was engaging with his audience.
In the fourth spot comes KingGeorge, who focused on sponsored content for popular names like GFUEL (gaming and esports energy drink), Corsair (gaming accessories and components), and Elgato (audiovisual technology for content creators and WFH pros). What made the stream so in-demand was the fact that it had a massive giveaway as part of the Gaming Bundle Vast Campaign, which included LT100 Lighting Towers, LC100 Case Accent Panels, an MM700 RGB Mouse Pad, and an M65 RGB Ultra Wireless, helping it claim 104K UAV.
Rounding off this top five is Towelliee, an American streamer who promoted Origin PC (custom personal computer manufacturing company) and Corsair. While he was streaming World of Warcraft, he helped with sponsored content for these two luxury brands, including drops for viewers and two Corsair 2TB M2 SSDs. Interestingly, he only had 83 sponsor mentions over 26,487 total messages shared in his chat, a measly 0.31% share that still managed to put him into this list.
Most watched sponsored YouTube Gaming streams in February 2023
Typical Gamer topped the corresponding YouTube list having promoted Hogwarts Legacy in English. The broadcast was a PS5 gameplay walkthrough sponsored by Warner Bros. that included a bit of Fortnite gameplay at the start, which did an impressive 31K HW. Intriguingly, Typical Gamer also topped this list for January thanks to his successful collaboration with Logitech G. He was seen playing Slime Rancher 2 on the company’s new CLOUD gaming console.
The mega-popular Valkyrae comes next with her English stream promoting the movie Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, releasing on March 31, 2023. The 100 Thieves co-owner and her roommates had a party themed around D&D that was sponsored by Paramount Pictures. Valkyrae is known to regularly join her streaming friends in cosplaying different pop culture products, and this was no different. Her undeniable popularity makes her one of the most likely sources of sponsored activities on the Google-owned platform.
Third was Ludwig, another legendary name in the content creation community who has won multiple awards and created numerous records. He teamed up with Spotify and Warner Bros. to promote the Harley Quinn and the Joker: Sound Mind podcast on the former platform. At under thirty minutes for each episode, the podcast is a fresh new take on the traditional Mad Love origin story. The stream did a solid 19,317 PV and 17,079 AV, both the highest on this list, reiterating the American’s popularity among fans and audiences the world over.
DrLupo was the next name on this list, and he, too, talked about Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, releasing later this month, on his stream as an ad. The star content creator, like Valkyrae, advertised it as a “Superb_OwlbearParty,” where he also played the upcoming hardcore fantasy FPS dungeon PvPvE adventure game, Dark and Darker. The American had also finished fourth on this list in January for his successful Escape from Tarkov broadcast sponsored by popular hardware brand GeForce.
Last comes fuslie, a long-time YouTube inhabitant and one of the most popular female streamers on the platform. The American did a stream where she also discussed Cocaine Bear, a Universal Pictures movie released at the end of February that revolves around true happenings from 1985. The film’s plot involves a drug runner's plane crash, missing cocaine, the black bear that ate it, and an oddball group’s attempts to stop the animal’s coke-fueled and bloody rampage.
Some of these names also made the list for January, showing that there is value in promoting all kinds of products on live-streaming platforms, especially if the creator has a solid fanbase. Judging by the numbers and diversity of sponsored streams, we can expect a few names to reappear next month, while also saying hello to a few new entries.
