Twitch expands sponsorship opportunities for creators

Twitch has introduced a new feature to help creators secure sponsorships more easily. Streamers can now access a dedicated Sponsorships tab directly from their Creator Dashboard, making it simpler and faster to discover brand partnership opportunities. Twitch also hinted that more updates like this are on the way.

The new feature comes in two options: Creator Profile and StreamElements partnership.

Creator Profile is a new section designed to help streamers connect with relevant sponsors. Creators can fill it out with details about themselves, their interests, and the type of content they love to stream.

Twitch also announced that in the coming weeks, streamers will be able to download this information as a shareable, visually appealing infographic, perfect for pitching to potential sponsors.

Right now, Twitch’s sponsorship ecosystem includes around 70 brands, with more being added over time. These brands could be looking for creators like you. To stay informed about sponsorship opportunities, be sure to turn on sponsorship notifications.

StreamElements partnership is another new collaborative feature.Twitch Partners can access it now, while Affiliates will get access starting March 11. The feature is fully powered by StreamElements, handling everything from offer management and updates to payout details and more.

Right now, Partners and Ambassadors streaming in English, German, or French can start using it immediately. On March 11, it will open up to English-speaking Affiliates, with more languages to follow. When support for your language becomes available, you’ll receive a notification in your Creator Dashboard.

In the announcement, Twitch also highlighted other sponsorship-related updates that have recently been launched or will be rolling out soon:

  • Since December, Twitch has expanded the Drops feature. Viewers can now earn Drops by subscribing to a channel participating in a campaign, in addition to earning them by simply watching streams. Creators can find out more about how to participate in Drops campaigns here. Interested viewers can also check out active campaigns via the provided link.

  • In the coming months, the Bounty Board will be moved to the Sponsorships Dashboard, and the feature will be “available to more streamers than ever before.”

  • Sponsorship placements are also set to receive further updates, including the introduction of channel skins.

Brands looking to partner with Twitch can learn more here. After reaching out, the Twitch team will get in touch with you shortly.
