August was packed with viral livestreaming content on YouTube Gaming. Game publishers and showcase organizers presented new releases, while esports tournaments and influencers skillfully capitalized on the hype surrounding major game updates. In this article, Streams Charts highlights the platform’s leading channels across two key viewership metrics: Hours Watched and Peak Viewers.
Top YouTube Gaming organization channels, August 2025
Interestingly, when it comes to channels run by organizations (or creator groups), the entire top 10 was made up exclusively of esports broadcasters.
At the very top, well ahead of the rest, stood the main channel of Korea’s League of Legends circuit, the LCK. Known for streaming multiple matches simultaneously, the channel is a regular fixture at the top of our rankings, and August was no exception. The month’s numbers were further boosted by the highly anticipated T1 vs. Gen.G derby, a head-to-head clash between the region’s two most popular teams.
Other channels in the ranking featured tournaments across Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Counter-Strike, Battlegrounds Mobile India, Valorant, Arena of Valor, and the multi-title Esports World Cup channel.
Esports content unsurprisingly dominated in total Hours Watched, but when it came to peak live audiences, game showcases and presentations stole the spotlight. Leading the way was Nintendo’s channel, thanks to its Nintendo Direct dedicated to the upcoming November release of Kirby Air Riders.
Other non-esports entries in the ranking included the Brawl Stars channel with a new episode of Brawl Talk and The Game Awards channel, which featured one of the highly anticipated Gamescom Opening Night broadcasts. Also notable was the inclusion of the Content Creator League, a project tailored to the MENA streaming audience.

Top YouTube Gaming livestreamers, August 2025
Among individual creators, the standout was Andre “Typical Gamer” Rebelo, best known for his Fortnite content. Recently named to the 2025 TIME100 Creators list, he struck a balance between casual and competitive streaming, covering the new content introduced in Chapter 6 Season 4 while also competing in esports tournaments, which helped draw extra viewers to his channel. Notably, he became the leader in both metrics.
Minecraft influencer Dream (known only by his first name, Clay) delighted fans with a comeback in August, returning to livestreaming with a steady output of Minecraft speedrun content.
Esports were also well represented, with Alexandre “Gaules” Chiqueta’s channel ranking highly in both metrics. He covered a wide range of tournaments, most notably the Esports World Cup, which spanned nearly all of August. As always, the foundation of his content was his signature title, Counter-Strike.
Interestingly, VTuber Pekora nearly led the rankings in concurrent viewership. At the end of August, she hosted a special musical stream celebrating the sixth anniversary of her career, featuring performances by virtual artists, including Pekora herself. The event peaked at over 288,000 live viewers.
The remainder of the ranking is filled with creators from diverse regions such as India, Brazil, and the United States, each backed by large and loyal fan bases. Their content spans a mix of popular mobile titles and select PC games, reflecting the varied interests of global gaming audiences.
As we look ahead, it will be exciting to see how the rankings evolve in September, with a fresh wave of esports tournaments and high-profile streamer events on the horizon, including IShowSpeed’s much-anticipated America tour. With both competitive action and creator-driven spectacles set to draw audiences, the stage is set for another thrilling month of streams, with fan-favorite creators and major esports events ready to redefine who dominates the charts.
