Recently Ludwig announced the launch of a creative agency called Offbrand. Together with Nathan Stanz, Brandon Ewing, and Nick Allen, three good friends of the streamer. All three of them are very experienced people when it comes to the video games, esports, and content creation industry. With all their know-how, they decided to create an agency designed to help content creators with their own events. Offbrand will help the creators at every step, from the idea of the event to the funding, and the production. The agency will search for the perfect sponsor for each event they help come to life.
Ludwig was the main responsible for the creation of Offbrand. He is one of the biggest streamers in the globe, being awarded the streamer of the year in 2022. Last year Ludwig switched over to YouTube and quickly became one of the faces of the platform, averaging a little over one million views per video, and reaching a wide audience with his streams.
Just about a week ago, Ludwig reached a new Peak Viewers record on his YouTube channel
Offbrand is Ludwig retirement plan, the streamer said himself in a YouTube video. “I'm not quitting streaming yet but I will at some point in the future so I am now taking steps for when it happens”. He still loves to stream and will continue to do it for quite some years, but the content creator knows that streaming fame doesn't last forever. This way he creates something that not only will help other content creators but is also something that will continue to exist long after he retires from streaming. Ludwig says that eventually when he gets older he will get out of touch with viewers from YouTube or Twitch.
“Rather than fear that and try to maintain success for as long as possible, I love the idea of helping other creators make things that I think are cool.”
Offbrand first project was “Juiced”, a game show for Twitch megastar xQc that the agency helped to develop. It took six months to create this project, and the cost of it was over $500K. The goal is to continue to help content creators with their events. Ludwig said he wants to work with talented content creators of all sizes, helping everyone that has a good idea come to fruition. This is a great help for content creators that have an idea for an event but don't know how to put it into practice.
The agency will also organize the chess boxing event, and it's one they have also been working on for a while. As for “Juiced, the event will have six episodes with the production of all of them being done by Offbrand. The agency has even more events planned for 2023 but it still hasn't revealed them.
We hope Ludwig retirement is far off, and that the streamer continues to entertain thousands of people with his content. It’s always a smart bet to secure your future, especially in a profession like content creation where you can be a the top of your game one day and fall into oblivion the next. Offbrand has all the ingredients to be a very successful company, helping content creators to organize unique events, and sharing its knowledge with other people in the industry. If Offbrand succeeds in its plan it would be great for everyone in the industry.
