Content creators are always organizing unique events that are able to captivate and entertain thousands of people. This time it was the turn of Twitch megastar xQc to create his own game show called Juiced, where he made his debut as a host. Fellow content creator star Ludwig agency OFFBRAND, which also has Nathan Stanz, Brandon Ewing, and Nick Allen as co-founders, helped xQc to create the show, which was in development for six months and cost over $500K. The second episode of Juiced aired yesterday, so let’s take a look at how the show is doing when it comes to viewership.
Juiced will have six episodes, and in each one, we will have two duos of content creators competing in multiple challenges, which can either be physical or trivia-based. One member of the losing team is selected by the fans to be “juiced”, which means being covered by a green-slimy substance that comes out of the “omega juicer”. The first episode of the show had the team of Sykkuno and Kyedae, going against Zoil and Myth. It was Myth and Zoil who came up on top, and Sykkuno was chosen to be “juiced”. However, the “omega juicer” had some technical problems, and xQc had to pour a bucket of the slime substance over Sykkuno head.
The second episode of the show went much better, but there were problems with some props. Ludwig teamed up with AustinShow, and went head-to-head with ConnorEatsPants and Jerma985. In the end, it was the duo of ConnorEatsPants and Jerma985 who came out victorious, and curiously it was the second win for the green team in two episodes. Fortunately, this time the “omega juicer” worked as intended, and fans picked Ludwig to get “juiced”.
Viewership Stats
In its first episode, Juiced reached 125K Peak Viewers, and had 94K Average Viewers. Despite some problems during the show, viewers were still captivated by the event. The stream was one of the five most popular sponsored streams of the month of September, so it was a very successful debut for xQc as a game host.
The viewership numbers had a slight drop in episode two, losing around 10K PV, and the Average Viewers number also diminished by 18K. Viewers also didn't stay tuned into the broadcast as long as they did on episode one, with the Average View duration decreasing by about 25%. However, the chat has been very active on both episodes of Juiced, and in the latest one, it had 19.8K Active Chatters.
Both episodes of the show have achieved some great viewership numbers and despite some production problems, the show has still been very entertaining. The dynamic between xQc and the participants has been great, and with the viewers being very important in the outcome of some games, and choosing the person from the loser team that is going to be “juiced”, it makes it a very interactive game show.
In September, xQc became the number one streamer on Twitch, with viewers watching his broadcast for 16.7 million hours. He continues to create new and engaging content, and Juiced might be the first of many game shows or similar events that the streamer will organize. xQc might already be the top streamer of the platform but he isn't going to slow down.
