Grand Theft Auto V wants to take the lead among games when Rust returns to the top 10. In the new weekly top, Streams Charts will highlight the most watched Twitch categories over the past week, February 2-8 by our Twitch stats.
Disclaimer: the rating is based on the hours that viewers spent watching broadcasts in categories (Hours Watched).
Just Chatting kept the lead in rating. Compared to the previous week (January 26 - February 1), the category lost 17% of Hours Watched, but it still surpassed the second place by almost 20M hours. League of Legends saved second place, while the third most popular category has changed: Grand Theft Auto V’s Hours Watched increased by 38%, allowing the Rockstar Games product to overcome Fortnite.
Top Growing games:
Rust. A week earlier, the game left the top 10 (12th place), but during the last week Rust’s Hours Watched increased by 85%, average viewers increased by 111% (108.8K) with a peak viewers of 336.8K. Customized skins for streamers helped the game to save its position in the rating.
Apex Legends. Hours Watched of the game increased by 20% after the start of the 8th season. Average viewers in the category increased by 37% compared to January 26 - February 1, and was set on 75K.
Top Declining games:
CS:GO. Valve's shooter saved its 9th position, but the game’s Hours Watched fell by 25%.
Call of Duty: Warzone. Hours Watched of the Activision’s shooter also fell by 19%, the game lost two positions compared to a week earlier.
Minecraft. Hours Watched of the game dropped by 19%, and Minecraft dropped from 4th to 5th place.
