How is Chat Engagement calculated?
Engagement is calculated as unique active chatters divided by average viewers for the selected time window. The result is shown as a percentage to help you track chat activity in relation to audience size.
What active windows are supported?
You can choose 5m, 15m, 30m, or 1h windows. This changes both the current ratio and the optional peak value displayed under the main metric.
Can I use this widget in OBS?
Yes. Copy the generated URL, add it as a Browser Source in OBS (or any similar software), and your engagement metric will refresh automatically every minute.
What do anti-spam filters do?
You can remove known bot messages and optionally skip emote-only messages. This helps keep engagement focused on real chat participation.
