In a move that the streaming world will no doubt appreciate, bbjess has brought Twitch and Kick together for a noble cause. She is running a cross-platform charity streaming tournament, BBs Streamer Showdown: Fight for Good, which started on July 23 and will run till July 30, combining the might of some of the most prominent streamers from across the globe.
As part of the proceedings, the charismatic online personality, known for her high-energy broadcasts, will come online daily at 6 PM PT by alternating on her Twitch and Kick channels, promoting the best clips of the day to her thousands of fans. She has partnered with Tiltify, which will allow winners to donate their proceeds to a cause of their choice.
For those unaware, Tiltify provides people with the tools to fundraise for any cause they care about! They are said to be the number one charity fundraising platform today, and that is why bbjess has gotten into an association with them so that the process for content creators participating becomes easier.
Representing Team Purple are the likes of liz_the_fantastic, maddog088, and StormSoulTV, who are part of a group of 76 doing their best to raise money for different charities. So far, these group members have together raised $8.2K, with users and fans having the option to donate to a catalog of institutes.
On the other hand, Team Green comprises names like LokesLive, Lexy Moon, and Itzdungeon, with the total strength being 71. This gaggle of broadcasters has managed to outdo its more illustrious competitors, so far collecting $6.8K, with the choice of charity to donate to again being pretty diverse.
When looking at the most popular content creators part of this philanthropic drive, the host herself is ahead, having hit 3K Peak Viewers during her first stream on Twitch. Interestingly, there was only one other streamer from the purple platform on this top ten leaderboard — alittlebitlexis — a Twitch Affiliate who favors games like Clone Hero and Phasmophobia. Most of the influencers getting higher peak engagement are from Kick, suggesting that viewers there are pretty hyped about the event and helping their favorite content broadcasters collect higher charity amounts.
What makes the list of participants so intriguing is the diversity of their backgrounds and what they do. For example, one Kick streamer, blinktattoo, is into body art and creates tattoos for clients, which he has channeled into this event by offering free tattoos. There are also a few dancers like samanthaplz, and a mom to three boys who loves playing FPS games, especially Escape From Tarkov.

The idea of is to have a friendly face-off between the content creators of the two platforms that highlights the unique strengths of both while fostering a spirit of unity through philanthropy. The participants are allowed to pick their charity and stream whatever they want/whenever they want. At the end of it all, the site that collectively raises the most for charity will be declared the champion.

The host's approach to accommodating various time zones and individual streaming preferences makes it a truly global event.
Moreover, there will be big prizes for streamers who do the best in terms of donations. These machines were constructed live, with the Twitch-themed PC built on June 29 and the Kick-themed one put together on July 5.
For those wondering, the streamers taking part in this event will also be streaming the happenings live, apart from bbjess herself. The broadcasts begin at 6 PM PT daily, with the finale party scheduled for the last day at the same time.
