The livestreaming industry is multifaceted and appeals to all sorts of viewers from around the globe. Different streamers and creators offer various entertainments for their loyal fans, and new debutants are constantly making a name for themselves and building up a large fan base for their streams. As part of our Livestreaming Results 2024 series, Streams Charts presents a list of some of the most exciting new entries to the top of the global streaming industry.
Whereas in the past Twitch was the only livestreaming platform known to many, and sizable audiences outside of Europe and North America were unheard of, the new faces emerging as potential new stars are appearing from all corners of the globe.
These breakout creators come from new platforms like Naver’s CHZZK, which appeals to South Korean audiences and often speak Arabic or Spanish rather than English. In many cases, audiences speaking Arabic or Spanish outperform international English-speaking viewers, which was traditionally the strongest audience for both Twitch and livestreaming as a whole.
For debutants and livestreaming stars, 2024 was a playground of innovation. Streamers experimented with cutting-edge tools like AI-assisted content creation, collaborated with celebrities from more established media, and reimagined how stories are told and experiences are shared. In this article, we celebrate a curated list of some of the breakout stars who defined this transformative year, shining a spotlight on the talent and trends that made 2024 unforgettable.
Arky
Arky was a late entry to the livestreaming industry this year. The North American creator started the year with fewer than 1,000 Followers on Twitch, but is rapidly approaching a six-figure follower count. Arky’s affiliation with FaZe Clan has helped to boost his popularity ahead of his aspiring peers, but his effective utilisation of TikTok to grow his brand has been the key part of his strategy.
Since beginning to create more content this year, Arky has posted more than 500 times on TikTok, creating bite-sized short-form content from his longer streams. These videos have been particularly efficacious for the streamer, and he has already accumulated more than 3.5 million total likes on his TikTok videos.

Arky’s rapid growth has outpaced many others in the industry throughout 2024
Arky has entered Twitch largely as a Just Chatting streamer. Throughout 2024, roughly 89% of Arky’s total live time on Twitch has been in the Just Chatting section. The category is one of Twitch’s most popular, both for streamers and viewers, and despite the vast amount of streamers in this category, it does not appear to be approaching oversaturation just yet.
Towards the tail-end of 2024, Arky was noticed by The Streamer Awards and nominated for the Rising Star Award. Although he was not the ultimate recipient of the award, his dedication to growing his personal brand and developing his online presence has not gone unnoticed by other creators.
Ko3ib
Over on Kick, ko3ib is emerging as one of the more popular Arabic streamers of the year. The Saudi Arabian streamer has been working in the industry for a few years now, having slowly built up roughly 50,000 Followers on Twitch before the turn of the year. However, the Saudi has found particular success since moving to Kick in 2024; the neon green platform has rapidly expanded into the MENA region, and the platform is proving more successful for Arabic-speakers looking to find fans.
Since joining Kick for the second half of the year, ko3ib has enjoyed a growth of just under 100,000 new Followers on the platform. The Saudi’s most popular content has been his GTA V roleplaying streams, which allow him to collaborate with other streamers, appear on other broadcasts, and spread his name around the community. While he was Twitch-based, ko3ib saw a few hundred average concurrent viewers for his streams. Now, on Kick, the Saudi enjoys thousands of concurrent viewers for broadcasts, having quickly grown into the larger community.
Ko3ib is also part of the esports organization R8 Esports as a content creator and streamer. The Saudi organization has helped other popular Saudi streamers find their feet, such as popular Kick streamer drb7h, who has since moved to Team Falcons.
텐코 시부키
텐코 시부키, or Tenko Shibuki, is one of the four new South Korean VTubers who debuted under Stellive’s third generation, Cliché. The streamer has rapidly risen to become one of Naver’s CHZZK’s most popular streamers, generating millions of hours of watch time and quickly receiving over 120,000 Followers for their channel.
Naver’s CHZZK was launched in response to Twitch’s announcements in late 2023 that they would be reducing their services in the country, and eventually exit the region entirely. Naver’s CHZZK is one of the multiple platforms to attempt to fill the market gap Twitch left behind, and the platform has found millions of users to use their platform. Shibuki is now one of the most popular VTubers for the entire platform, and currently ranks as the second-most-watched VTuber on the platform this year.
Similar to other VTubers from around the world, Shibuki broadcasts a mixture of variety gaming and Just Chatting content. Their YouTube channel recently reached 100,000 Subscribers, and 2025 will likely bring more success for the South Korean VTubing star.
Artur “MISTERARTHER” Swerhun
MISTERARTHER is a Apex Legends professional player turned streamer, who recently has undergone massive success since moving to America. The German streamer has been collaborating with many of North America’s most popular Twitch creators, leading to rapid growth for the English-language broadcaster.
After making numerous attempts to break into Apex Legends esports, Misterarther eventually turned his attention to livestreaming. The German found moderate success focusing on streaming his favourite game, but he struggled to reach more than a hundred of so concurrent viewers for these broadcasts. 2024 marked a change in content for the streamer: he began to broadcast more Just Chatting content, and collaborate with other Twitch streamers like AngelaOreo, Fiona “fanfan” Fan, and more.
His turn to Just Chatting content has made him an instant success among North American viewers. He has been warmly accepted by many of Twitch’s most popular streamers from the region, who have happily brought the German on to collaborate and appear on their broadcasts. This recognition from other broadcasters was most clearly made plain when Misterarther won the Rising Star Award at the recent The Streamer Awards 2024.
MichiMochievee
MichiMochievee is an English-language Indonesian VTuber who debuted earlier this year with VShojo, one of VTubing’s most premier and exclusive agencies for talent. Since debuting at the beginning of Q2, she has rapidly grown to become Twitch’s most-watched Indonesian content creator and also the country’s most-followed creator on the platform.
Despite VShojo being home to less than 20 talents, the agency is often the industry’s most-watched and has a reputation for its high-quality selection of streamers. Michi’s debut with VShojo automatically had fans associating her with other successful VShojo streamers, although she herself believes VShojo viewers are more loyal to specific talent, in contrast to Japanese fans which can devoutly follow all debutants from their favourite agency.
Since debuting on Twitch, Michi has streamed a variety of games such as Minecraft and Baldur’s Gate 3, on top of the usual VTuber Just Chatting content. As her country’s leading Twitch streamer, Michi will likely continue to grow her audience through collaborations with other VShojo talent and short-form content clips of her streams posted to her own social media.
Ade “set1awanade” Pamungkas
Set1awanade is another Indonesian content creator, although in contrast to Michi, he broadcasts on YouTube Live: the preferred livestreaming platform for most fans and streamers from this country. The streamer is a former Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) esports coach, and since turning to streaming, he has found massive success as a community caster of MLBB esports events.
Set1awanade, who competed in MLBB under the alias Hyde O'Brien, claimed two MPL Indonesia titles as well as a world championship in his short career. The coach was critical for the success of teams under the EVOS Esports banner, and during his career in the esports scene, he was able to build his personal brand among MLBB esports fans.
After exiting esports competition at the end of 2021, Pamungkas slowly entered the livestreaming industry. While he was initially rather successful, 2024 has seen the streamer catapult himself not only to the top of MLBB esports, but become one of YouTube Gaming’s most popular mobile gaming streamers in general. Nowadays, set1awanade earns most of his success acting as a co-caster for MLBB esports.
At the recent M6 World Championship, he was not only the most popular co-caster, but even more popular than many of the event’s official broadcasts. With MLBB esports continuing to grow and dominate the mobile gaming esports industry, set1awanade will only find more and more success as a co-caster. 2025 could very likely see him become one of Indonesia’s most famed internet celebrities.
Rainelis “Rainelissss” Rosario
Rainelissss is one of the fastest-growing streamers of the year on both Twitch and Kick. Although her Twitch channel is slightly more popular, her Kick channel has quickly grown to become one of the more popular Spanish-language broadcasts on the platform. Rainelissss is a perfect example of the potential of multistreaming, and how to effectively leverage viewers to stay motivated to keep track of your streams on both platforms.
Not only does Rainelissss multistream broadcasts to both platforms simultaneously, but she also offers exclusive broadcasts on each platform. With the fact that viewers are not sure if a broadcast will take place on Kick or Twitch, viewers are motivated to check both platforms, even if they have a preference for one or the other.
Rainelissss has also been leveraging both Instagram and TikTok to grow her brand on the livestreaming platforms. Her most popular content has been her Just Chatting streams, which make up the vast majority of her broadcasting time for the year.
Brittany “Cinna” Watts
Cinna has been around in the livestreaming industry for a while. Since beginning to broadcast on Twitch a few years ago, she managed to build up a loyal audience for herself coming into 2023. Last year, she enjoyed thousands of viewers for her broadcasts, and reached the impressive milestone of 100,000 Followers. However, 2024 has seen Cinna explode in popularity, and she is now one of the most popular female streamers on Twitch.
After building her own loyal audience throughout 2023, Cinna entered this year with big plans on her mind. She held collaborations with other various popular North American streamers, including Imane “Pokimane” Anys, Nick “Nmplol” Polom, and Din “Agent00” Muktar. The latter of these collaborations was the most popular, with Cinna’s collaboration with Agent00 reaching over 41,000 peak concurrent viewers, a new channel record for her.
Cinna’s efforts to take her career to the next level have been widely recognised in the livestreaming community. Most recently, she was awarded the Sapphire Award (Best Female Streamer of the Year) by The Streamer Awards 2024. Cinna’s upward trajectory and rapid growth surprised many this year, and 2025 will likely see her continue to collaborate with other top streamers and solidify her place at the top of the livestreaming industry.
Jason Thor “PirateSoftware” Hall
PirateSoftware is a North American livestreamer and game developer. He began streaming in late 2019, but did not find the massive success other streamers enjoyed during the COVID-19 lockdowns. Eventually, PirateSoftware achieved virality on YouTube through his short-form content. This virality led to explosive growth in 2024, and the streamer is now one of the continent’s most popular creators.

Not only has PirateSoftware completely taken over the Software and Game Development category on Twitch, but his streams in Just Chatting both alone and collaboration with other streamers have been wildly successful. The streamer has also started a brand-new trend in the livestreaming industry: using drawings and visualisations to both explain his thought processes and add another layer to his broadcasts compared to podcast-style discussions.
PirateSoftware’s unique content style was massively popular, once he managed to break through social media’s enigmatic algorithms. His rapid rise is proof that while ensuring a high-quality of content is important for growth on Twitch, managing to get your name out there and connecting with new potential viewers is the key for making it big.
Alondra “Alondrissa” Michelle
Alondrissa is Twitch’s premiere Puerto Rican streamer by peak concurrent viewers, even having overtaken industry leader ironmouse. Since the beginning of the year, she has gained over 1.4M new Followers for her Twitch channel, highlighting her raw popularity over even other breakout streamers in this article.
Alondrissa’s content is largely based in the Just Chatting category, with the streamer hosting collaborative broadcasts with both other content creators and internet personalities, as well as non-endemic celebrities, such as Puerto Rican musician Young Miko: Alondrissa’s broadcast with the musician received over 151,000 peak concurrent viewers. Alondrissa has also collaborated with Rainelissss, which was critical for the latter streamer to grow her brand and find her place in the industry.
She has also experimented with broadcasting on Kick, which is cultivating a powerful Spanish-speaking audience. However, Twitch remains her main platform for livestreaming, and she utilises both uploading VODs and short-form edited content on YouTube to reach new fans. Alondrissa is already one of Twitch’s most popular Spanish-speaking creators, and her growth shows no sign of slowing at the moment.
In a year where livestreaming has reached new heights, the breakout and debutant streamers of 2024 are at the core of what fuels this industry. From business-savvy collaborations and multistreaming to innovative formats and genuine community-building, these rising stars have proven that passion, creativity, and authenticity can carve out a space in an increasingly crowded field.
