Pereira's Among Us collab: Ibai, Lamine Yamal & Auronplay among guests as stream becomes his most successful one yet

On October 4, one of Spain's top streamers, Pablo "Peereira7" Pereira, held a massive Among Us collaboration broadcast that peaked at 326K viewers. According to Streams Charts, the stream also put him among the year's most popular Spanish-language content creators.

Peereira7's broadcast on Twitch saw him play various games, including Rocket League and Fortnite. It generated 1.03 million Hours Watched and attracted 326,086 Peak Viewers, both personal records for the creator's channel on the purple platform.

Pereira's broadcast also included Spanish Twitch sensations like Ibai "ibai" Llanos and Raul "auronplay" Alvarez joining in on the fun. The presence of such prominent names also helped him make headway in terms of subscribers and followers.

During the livestream, the 27-year-old gained a massive 92,311 followers, putting his channel close to the 2 million mark. He also ended up getting more than 19,000 subscribers, putting him in the top 25 of the top Twitch streamers by active subscriptions.

Pereira is also now among the ten most popular Spanish-language streamers for 2026. He joins an illustrious list including names like Ibai, Luis "westcol" Álvarez and Abrahaham "ElAbrahaham" Flores. Ibai's YouTube channel leads the chart with 5.08 million PV during La Velada del Año VI.

It was also a return to its pandemic heyday for Among Us, which put up livestreaming numbers not seen since 2021. The social deduction game enjoyed its best peak viewership numbers for a month since April 2021, while its average of 9.3 viewers was the best since June 2022. As a result, it took its place in the top ten of the most popular Twitch categories for the past week.

Pereira began his stream playing titles like Rocket League with his fellow streamers. However, it was his segment playing Among Us, one of the breakout titles from the COVID-19 pandemic's lockdown era, that really caught the attention of the internet world, with many moments going viral immediately.

That is because it included the participation of many of the Spanish national men's football team's star players. World Cup-winning players like Víctor Muñoz, Dani Olmo, Yeremy Pino, Borja Iglesias, Lamine Yamal, Pau Cubarsí, Pedri and David Raya participated in this collaboration stream.

One of the top moments of the broadcast came when Pereira took a dig at Lamine Yamal and his hopes of winning the Ballon d'Or, saying Kylian Mbappé would win the prestigious award. The Spanish international did not back down, responding to his host by asking him to shut up and calling him a beaver.

Ibai's presence was another topic of discussion among fans, as he was on stream with mostly Barcelona players despite being a Real Madrid fan. He copped quite a lot of criticism online, but Auronplay came to his aid, saying his colleague gets along well with everyone on the Spanish national team and that they could put aside rivalries for such activities where having fun and entertaining viewers was the main goal.
