Breakout streamers of Q3 2026: Creators brands would have missed at the start of the quarter
Having returned from a livestreaming break in early July, Kai Cenat topped the Q3 2026 breakout streamer rankings with 28.38 million Hours Watched. He and a few other household names were unique cases in Streams Charts' data analysis, but our quarterly rankings revealed creators whose audiences are growing well beyond their previous scale.
In Q3 2026, that growth came through several routes: event-led exposure, larger regular audiences, longer broadcasting schedules and viewing across multiple platforms.
Streams Charts examined creators who finished outside the global top 200 by Hours Watched in Q2, then generated at least 1 million Hours Watched across at least 40 hours of broadcasting in Q3 while doubling their previous quarter’s total. The rankings combine matched channels across Twitch, YouTube Gaming and Kick. Here, “breakout” describes a change in quarterly viewing performance — not necessarily a creator’s first taste of fame.
Top breakout streamers of Q3 2026 by absolute watch-time growth
Hours Watched captures total viewing consumption across the quarter. However, it can rise because creators attract more viewers, spend longer live, or both. Those distinctions matter for brands assessing whether a quarterly surge represents a larger audience or simply more opportunities to watch.

Kai Cenat leads the supplied absolute-growth ranking with 28.38 million Hours Watched, against a recorded Q2 total of zero. His inclusion illustrates why this list should not be read as a ranking of previously unknown personalities: an established creator can qualify when the recorded comparison quarter contains no viewing activity.
Jacob "Suburbbaby" Ogunlade provides a clearer example of a dramatic audience breakthrough. His watch time increased by 10.20 million hours to 10.24 million, placing him second among eligible creators. Average viewership climbed from approximately 186 to 21,255, alongside an increase in broadcasting hours.
Streamer University 2026 was central to that performance. Streams in the category contributed approximately 6 million Hours Watched, or 59% of Suburbbaby’s Q3 total. For brands, the important follow-up is whether that event-driven exposure translates into sustained viewing beyond the event itself.
Kanel Joseph ranked third, adding 6.39 million Hours Watched to reach 6.94 million across Kick and Twitch. Kick contributed approximately 4.29 million hours and Twitch 2.65 million. Across both platforms, IRL accounted for 43% of his viewing and Streamer University 38%. These are combined platform totals, not a deduplicated count of individual viewers.
Hoàng Luân followed with an increase of 6.38 million Hours Watched, reaching 8.37 million on YouTube. League of Legends accounted for approximately 99% of his Q3 viewing. His average audience increased from around 6,939 to 23,735, indicating that the improvement extended beyond additional airtime.
Victor "lonche" Ordoñez completed the top five, adding 6.29 million hours to reach 7.75 million on Kick. IRL contributed 63% of his viewing, followed by Minecraft at 17% (mostly from participating in Dedsafio 4). His broadcasting hours increased substantially, while average viewership rose approximately 60%.
Further down the ranking, Lucas "buddha" Ramos and Raj “Snax Gaming” Varma added 5.59 million and 5.56 million Hours Watched, respectively. Snax Gaming stood out because his airtime barely changed, while average viewership increased approximately 263%.
Edward "cry" Martinconi and rapper Johnathan "blueface" Porter followed with gains exceeding 5.3 million hours each. Cry’s results demonstrate why watch time needs context: his airtime increased approximately 349%, compared with an 8% rise in average viewership.
Event categories also featured prominently elsewhere. ZEVENT 2026 accounted for approximately 72% of Théo "Mastu" Becker’s Q3 watch time and 20% of Nicolas "Nico_la" Trouvé’s. Meanwhile, Counter-Strike represented approximately 98% of Leonid "chopperinho" Vishnyakov’s viewing, highlighting a more concentrated gaming audience.

Top breakout streamers of Q3 2026 by percentage watch-time growth
The percentage ranking applies an additional requirement of at least 100,000 Hours Watched in Q2, limiting the influence of extremely small starting totals. This excludes Suburbbaby despite his substantial absolute gain.

Blueface led with growth of 5,225.8%, increasing from approximately 102,000 Hours Watched to 5.42 million. Just Chatting and IRL together accounted for approximately 96% of his Q3 viewing.
Fabian "mafiantv" Pasos ranked second with a 1,681.8% increase, reaching 3.38 million Hours Watched. The workbook categorizes his Q3 viewing entirely under Just Chatting.
Mastu placed third at 1,613.0%, followed by Rafael "rafao" Vicente at 1,572.8%. Rafao reached 2.02 million Hours Watched, all categorized as Grand Theft Auto V. His broadcasting time increased from 148 hours to approximately 1,000, making the expanded schedule an important part of the story.
Syahrul "RineeLoyyy" Ramadhan completed the top five with growth of 1,150.1%, reaching 1.46 million Hours Watched on YouTube. Mobile Legends: Bang Bang contributed approximately 70% of that total. Kaneljoseph followed at 1,149.6%, ahead of Muskan "MR RAJA PLAYZONE" Raja at 1,084.5%, whose viewing was predominantly associated with GTA V.

For brands, these rankings offer a discovery shortlist rather than an automatic endorsement. Average viewership, event dependence, content suitability and performance after the initial surge all deserve attention. The opportunity lies not simply in identifying who grew fastest, but in understanding which growth patterns match a campaign’s audience and objectives.
