We know that many chess fans have been actively following the audience of individual influencers and official tournament broadcast channels on Streams Charts. And there is very good news: now all the most detailed information about the audience of chess in the live streaming industry will be available on our new service ChessWatch.com.
Chess Watch emerged as our team decided to create an all-inclusive resource, where all data about chess live viewership on major streaming platforms will be collected: and now we’re proudly launching it. The advantages of the new service are a huge and constantly updated database of events and viewership statistics of organizational channels, grandmasters & ordinary chess enthusiasts who broadcast live.
'Esports Charts has been synonymous with esports and live-events streaming analytics, and now, with great pleasure, we present Chess Watch. With enhanced filters, seamless navigation, and a fusion of data from our other resource, Streams Charts, we're not only keeping pace but also setting new standards for chess streaming insights. It's incredible to note that Chess events are already standing shoulder to shoulder in popularity with Tier-1 titles from the gaming industry, and this is just the beginning.'
Artyom Odintsov, Esports Charts & Streams Charts CEO
Statistics on chess channels/influencers will be similar to those provided on Streams Charts. Same metrics that are used on Streams Charts are also available on the new site. Perhaps the main advantage here is that we have collected all the chess channels in one place and you do not need to search for them on many different platforms. In particular, unlike Streams Charts, Chess Watch has pages for YouTube chess channels, including major organizational channels like Chess.com and chess24. Now you can also get segmented channel lists by country, language, and platform (or general lists) in just a couple of clicks.
In addition, the database is also enhanced with event statistics that have been moved from our main resource, Esports Charts. All previously published statistics about past and upcoming chess tournaments — including news and articles — will now be available on Chess Watch.
You can learn more about the launch and features of the new service in this article. Also, follow the Chess Watch Twitter account, where we are reporting on the most-watched chess channels on a weekly basis. Stay tuned, there are many interesting things ahead!
