In the streaming wars between YouTube and Twitch, YouTube won yet another battle. There have been a lot of big names in content creation leaving Twitch to join their biggest rival YouTube, and FaZe Swagg is the most recent one.
The Call of Duty: Warzone streamer, who is also a member of the Nuke Squad, signed an exclusive contract with YouTube Gaming. He joins big names such as Sykkuno, LilyPichu, and Myth, who have also joined the platform recently.
FaZe Swagg labeled this as "the biggest announcement of my career", and will be yet another big streamer that chooses YouTube as his streaming home. He will also take his big social media following with him, and already has a YouTube channel with 2.5 million subscribers, which will help him solidify himself on YouTube as one of the biggest streamers on the platform.
YouTube Gaming management is also ecstatic for having signed such a big streamer like FaZe Swagg. YouTube head of gaming content Santiago Baranda said the following:
Beyond excited to have FaZe Swagg streaming exclusively on YouTube Gaming. We've long been fans of Swagg and the passionate community he's built over the years, and look forward to seeing him continue to develop his already successful career across Live, Shorts and VOD.

In his last month on Twitch, FaZe Swagg streamed for 149 hours, and viewers watched his streams for 1 million hours. This shows that viewers really like the content that FaZe Swagg produces, and how much of a loss for Twitch will be losing a content creator like him.
He also streamed simultaneously for 27K viewers, and had 8K AV. Just this month FaZe Swagg had gained 21K new followers on Twitch, and was one of the most watched Call of Duty: Warzone streamers on the platform.
