Fuslie is potentially leaving Twitch for YouTube

Fuslie is potentially leaving Twitch for YouTube
Share:

In the last few months, we have seen some major names in the streaming world leaving Twitch to join its rival platform YouTube. Just last week the biggest Call of Duty: Warzone streamer on Twitch FaZe Swagg announced he had signed an exclusive contract with YouTube Gaming and became the most recent streaming star to leave Twitch for YouTube.

It seems like Fuslie will probably follow the same steps as her close friends Valkyrae, Sykkuno, and lilypichu. The last two have joined YouTube this year, while Valkyrae was one of the biggest streamers to sign with the platform, and has been streaming on YouTube since 2020.

Fuslie had a very emotional speech on her last Twitch stream. She thanked her fans for always supporting her, and for the amazing community she had built. The streamer also thanked her friends that were always there for her, in the good and bad moments, and also her parents who were always super supportive.

When the clock struck midnight, Fuslie said it was time to leave, because if she didn't "something might happen". This might mean that it was Fuslie last stream on Twitch, and that the content creator already has a signed contract with YouTube, or perhaps even other streaming platform.

Fuslie Viweship Stats

Losing Fuslie would be a big loss for Twitch. The streamer was the third biggest female streamer in the first quarter of the year, and the fifth biggest in the second quarter of 2022. She is also in the top 35 most followed female streamers on Twitch, with 1.2 million followers. Proving that she is among the biggest female streamers on the platform.

In the month of August, Fuslie broadcasted for 92 hours, and viewers watched her streams for 826K hours. With 8K average viewers, and 20K simultaneous viewers, all the numbers indicate that Fuslie was one of the big names on the platform, especially when it comes to female streamers.

If she does indeed leave Twitch, it's going to be a hard task for the streaming platform to find someone who can "replace" her.
