Kai Cenat has been quite busy recently, with his series of 100+ hour live streams beginning on May 10 and attracting millions of viewers. These broadcasts have been highly successful, ending as some of his most watched ever while also putting the focus on a game that may have been pushed to the background amidst the rush of new releases seen this year.
It was only recently that the American reached the milestone of 10 million Twitch followers, becoming just the tenth streamer to do so. It's quite an exclusive club, with only those who have reached the highest echelons of content creation, like Ninja and Ibai, managing to get into it.
Kai Cenat celebrated such a momentous occasion with fans via a live stream on May 7, deservedly taking in the adulation from his followers and fans. However, he did not dwell on this achievement for too long, having aired the first of his many live broadcasts as part of his '100+ HR STREAM' series three days later.
Across three completed live broadcasts so far (the fourth one is ongoing), he has accrued more than seven million hours of watch time. Most importantly, two of these streams have ended in the top three of his most-watched streams ever, with the other coming from March and involving another marathon attempt (50+ hours).
In fact, his clip from May 12 reached as many as 4.3M Hours Watched, making it by far his most-viewed stream yet. It is almost 50% higher than any other live broadcast on his channel so far, with a major reason being that he has played a lot of Elden Ring during this time.
Sticking to the legendary game from FromSoftware, Kai Cenat's gameplays of this action RPG have helped it climb up the Twitch rankings over the past week. It sits eighth in terms of the most-watched title and the ninth spot when it comes to peak concurrent viewership.

Most popular games on Twitch over the past week
These are rises of 283% and 273%, respectively for a game that had taken a backseat recently thanks to the array of new video game releases that have happened so far in 2024. The list includes prominent names like Arena Breakout: Infinite, Palworld, HELLDIVERS™ 2, Content Warning, Stellar Blade, and Manor Lords.
This rise in numbers has also put this action RPG above prominent names like Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege, Apex Legends, Rocket League, and Overwatch 2, all of which have had events running during the last few weeks and days.
Another game that has benefitted from Kai Cenat's lengthy live broadcasts is I'm Only Sleeping, a point-and-click adventure video game released in 2005. It has seen its peak viewership shoot up by 636%, helping it nestle into the top 25 most popular games list over the past week.
When it comes to watch time, it has seen a 40% jump, putting it in the top 40 by that metric. The Twitch megastar has almost solely been responsible for these numbers, as he has been its busiest gamer by a distance since May 7.
Having ended the first quarter of 2024 as the third-most-watched Twitch streamer, the American youngster has not wasted much time getting busy in the next three-month block. May is already shaping up to be a successful month for him, and it remains to be seen where he finishes in our rankings for the month come June.
