The current year continues to be a great one for Kick, as April's viewership statistics have backed what we saw in March. The latter saw green figures across the board, hitting a slew of records for the streaming service, including for Hours Watched and Average Viewers.
April may not have continued that run of all the metrics seeing green month-on-month in 2023, but it only barely missed out on the numbers that popped up in the previous 30-day cycle. This includes new milestones for watch time and average online viewership, with the former figure being the first time the platform has crossed 150 million HW.
The 211.8K AV that Kick hit was also a new record, with March and April being the first two months that it has crossed the double century mark and done so back to back. The average channels figure also inched closer to the 3K mark, which has not been done since the middle of 2023, so officials will hope the influx of new streamers over the past two months helps when the same lists are collated for May.
What will help this cause is that after the influx of Turkish content creators during the March rankings period, a similar journey from Spanish broadcasters could bring in millions of new eyeballs to the Stake-backed company. It has been announcing these signings on social media, with a few popular names being mirivmgxmez, ricoy, and agustabell212.

The leader by this count was Just Chatting, which continued to enjoy a high number of viewers compared to any other game or category. In fact, it has been notching almost the same figures for every month in 2024, with April being the first time the difference was negative.
Second comes Slots & Casino, which has become something of a theme for this genre as it enjoys just enough attention from content creators thanks to Kick's lenient rules to perpetually keep it in the second spot. Next is Grand Theft Auto V (GTA), the most preferred game for viewers and broadcasters and the only other entry to consistently hit over 10M HW every month.
Call of Duty: Warzone and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III have made it the second straight month that there are two Activision titles in the top ten. What will please the developer even more is that both names saw rises in their watch times, with the former seeing green across the board in April, including a 48% rise in its peak concurrent viewership.
Other, Watch Party is the other IRL genre to find a place in this top ten leaderboard, swapping places with Fortnite from the previous rankings. Even though its month-on-month watch time rise was negligible, the fact that Epic Games' builder shooter lost 21% of its viewers in April contributed to its fall.
The last three names are highly popular in their own rights, with their esports scenes being among the most followed in the industry globally. While Garena Free Fire and League of Legends retained their spots in the top ten this time, Dota 2 was able to re-enter the standings after seeing a 174% increase in its monthly watch time.
The Valve MOBA had a few former pros from South America and a bunch of live streams from Russian creator zxcursed to thank for its big jump. The former group, led by Peruvian ex-pro kingteka, was busy covering matches from his Peru Dota League, many of which finished as his most successful live broadcasts. The latter, meanwhile, covered matches from a locally organized tournament where he had a team participating as well, with many of these videos going viral and becoming some of his most watched ever.

The leader is once again Adin Ross with 5.29M HW, a decline of 34% from March but just enough to keep him atop the pile. Most crucially, it helped keep him above the perennially popular xqc, who is used to topping such lists from this time as a full-time Twitch guy, meaning he will undoubtedly be gunning to go one better when the May results roll out.
Coming back to the American topper, his live streams continued to feature a mix of content comprising events, vlogs, and cameos from celebrities, including UFC and MMA pro sugasean. His Canadian adversary, meanwhile, saw a 40% growth in his watch time to return to the podium, helped by a fairly active April where he streamed a lot of reaction videos and played myriad games, including Rocket League and Monopoly Plus.
Finishing third is roshtein, another name to see a rise in his ranking, so much so that he returned to the top ten this month. The Swede, a big fan of the gambling genre, more or less stuck to his gun, which certainly helped in his monthly Hours Watched figure shooting up by 221%, the second-highest on this top ten list.
Westcol is fourth, becoming the last online star to breach the 3M HW mark in April. The lone South American on this leaderboard was fairly busy last month, with most of his content revolving around the Just Chatting segment, although he did host quite a few watchalongs of football matches of his team, West Santos FC, from the Americas Kings League.
Rounding off the top five was Asia's only entry here, sxb, who also recorded the biggest jump in watch time from March at 309% despite not being all that active in terms of the number of days live-streamed. This also helped him return to the top ten after missing out on last month's standings. He played a lot of Grand Theft Auto V (GTA) in April, with Content Warning, a new release that has left quite an impression on players and content creators.
Sixth is n3on, who maintained his streak of appearing on all these monthly leaderboards in 2024. This was despite a drop in his monthly watch time by a significant 33% as he was in Dubai for the first week of April, where he was arrested for around 37 hours for illegally filming at a theme park. He was also banned from the platform at the end of April for reckless driving that was caught live on camera, although he returned to broadcasting a few hours before this article went out.
The next three spots are taken by ac7ionman, mellstroy271, and elraenn, with the last name making a comeback to this ranking. Among the trio, mellstroy271 was the only one to see red in his monthly watch time, reflected in the fact that his airtime was also down by 40%. Turkish superstar elraenn, meanwhile, concentrated a lot on Planet Crafter, a space survival open-world terraforming crafting game released in the second week of April.
The last name on this leaderboard is the sole female to make the cut, although her inclusion will hardly surprise readers. Amouranth was once again the most viewed name among the fairer sex despite seeing a slight drop of 8% in her monthly watch time. One of her live broadcasts, on April 25, became her most popular ever as the only one to pass 20K PV, with the fact that it was promoting her OnlyFans page playing a major role.

As we have already spoken about amouranth, we will move to the next-best internet star, demisux, who finished second for the fourth straight month this year. She did see a growth of 11% in her monthly watch time, putting her back in the 400K HW bracket after missing out in March. What helps is that she is one of the few women on Kick to take gaming a lot more seriously, with her Call of Duty playthroughs proving pretty popular among viewers.
Nadia is on the podium for the third time in four months this year, with her monthly watch time also seeing a rise of 37%. What sets her apart is that her average viewership constantly matches up to the best in the platform, Amouranth, with their April figures being really close. They are also two of the only three females to see this metric go over the 4K AV mark last month.
Woodbabi and crystal come in fourth and fifth, respectively, with the former continuing a streak of her own — finishing in the top five so far this year. Both saw improvements in their month-on-month watch times, with the latter even adopting the ASMR genre to good effect, as one such stream from April 27 ended as her most watched of all time.
The US had a clean sweep of the top five, and that extended to the top ten as well, with two more names adding to the representation. Nataliereynolds and breeazyy finished in the ninth and tenth positions, respectively, with the latter proving to be another skillful proponent of video games via her Call of Duty: Warzone broadcasts that attracted hundreds of viewers.
North America had one more name on this leaderboard in the form of Canada's blonderabbit in eighth. With a focus on Slots & Casino, she saw her MoM HW figure shoot up by 39%, with two of her most popular live broadcasts also coming from April, with the number one video becoming the only one to go past 6K PV.
Coming in sixth is Turkey's blush, another to make all four top ten rankings this year. She is another to focus heavily on gaming, with her most watched titles in April being League of Legends and Counter-Strike 2. Additionally, her April 25 ended as her most popular ever, shattering the 9K PV mark on its way.
The final name in this article is shakomako with 72K HW as her priority toward Just Chatting paid off handsomely. It also helped her April 28 live-stream finish as the most popular ever on her channel, which saw her MoM PV improve by a whopping 470%. She is also someone who dedicates time to the Just Sleeping category, which comes in handy in adding a few hundred viewers to her broadcasts.
