Recently, two renowned names in the live-streaming industry came together to prove their gaming prowess to their fans and the world. These playthroughs, which lasted around a month, gave the content creators in question — Ludwig and CDawgVA — their most popular broadcasts in weeks.

The shared gaming series, ‘Lovers vs The World’, saw the two influencers attempt to achieve ten multiplayer game wins in a row. The ultimate aim was to prove that they were actually good at gaming which has given them so much in their careers as content creators.

Across their journey, which logged over 98 hours of airtime, the two streamers indulged in titles like Fall Guys, Mario Kart, Overwatch 2, GeoGuessr, and Halo. Ludwig's YouTube channel attracted a larger cumulative audience, with his total watch time coming to 1.87M Hours Watched.

The playthroughs, which the creators also labeled as 'God Gaming Challenge,' involved the duo playing Rivals 2, the upcoming platform fighting video game meant to be the direct sequel to Rivals of Aether. What is interesting is that Ludwig's Offbrand Games is collaborating with Aether Studios to publish it, meaning the game got some decent publicity ahead of its much-awaited release next month.

For his part, CDawgVA attracted 943K HW across the month of live-streaming this activity, which began on August 24. This first broadcast also saw the most spectators as he reached 15.6K Peak Viewers, with the duo finally managing to meet their objective a month later on September 25, going as far as finishing 11 multiplayer games across the entire broadcast.

This peak concurrent viewership figure that CDawgVA hit was also his highest since the July 19 live stream of his much-loved charity auction, which did 86K PV, making it his channel's most popular one of all time. The finale broadcast was also Ludwig's most popular one (41.6K PV) since the special Streamer Games event, which featured top North American creators and enjoyed two straight days of registering over 50K PV.

Interestingly for fans of the two prominent broadcasters, towards the end of his finale live stream, the Mogul Moves founder revealed to viewers that he planned on a few other similar challenges. These included reaching Platinum in League of Legends, mastering Pokemon, and beating two games in one sitting, which means fans will get to see a lot more of Ludwig the gamer in the near future.

What these streamer collaborations continue to prove is that they can be highly lucrative and attract massive crowds if done right. In fact, many such activities have become regular/annual attractions on platforms like Twitch and YouTube, pulling in thousands of viewers and affecting the viewership dynamics of these live-streaming services for a certain period.
