There are plenty of talented streamers on Twitch, who stream in different categories. We have variety streamers that play a plethora of games from different genres, IRL streamers that make content centered around real-life interactions, or MOBA streamers that play games such as League of Legends or Dota 2. But there is one genre in specific that is among the most popular ones on Twitch, and that’s the FPS genre. Some of the biggest streamers on the platform broadcast FPS games regularly, with titles such as Valorant, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, or Overwatch 2, being among the most popular games on Twitch daily.

So we at Streams Charts decided to collect all the stats necessary to present you with the ten most popular FPS streamers of October. All these content creators have 50% or more of their monthly airtime dedicated to playing games in the category. It's worth noting that this list consists mostly of Overwatch 2 streamers, as the game was one of the most popular ones in October.

In the month of October, there was no other content creator that had more hours watched from FPS games than Brazilian Twitch star Gaules. He is known for streaming Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, as he is the official Brazilian watch party for most tournaments of the game, and is loved by Brazilian fans of the title. Gaules FPS broadcasts were watched for 12.6 million hours and made up 81% of his total Hours Watched in October. The 366K Peak Viewers of Gaules broadcast were achieved when Imperial faced Complexity for the last spot at the IEM Rio Major. It was a very emotional game for Brazilian fans, that saw the team of FalleN advance to the Challengers Stage of the Major.

XQc is one of the faces of Twitch, as the Canadian streamer has built a large and loyal fan base in the past few years. In October 61% of his Hours Watched came from FPS games, mostly Overwatch 2. It was playing that title that the streamer achieved 133K PV, that wanted to see if the former pro player still had what it took. In total, viewers watched xQc play FPS games for 7.1 million hours, which secured him second place in the list.

Closing out the podium, we have North American streamer A_Seagull, who is an ex-professional Overwatch and Team Fortress 2 player. A_Seagull has been streaming for years, and he quickly became one of the most popular Overwatch streamers on the platform when the game was released. In October 89.1% of his Hours Watched came from FPS games, with viewers watching his FPS broadcasts for 4.1 million hours. It comes as no surprise that A_Seagull reached his peak viewership of 77.4K while streaming Overwatch 2.

In fourth place we have summit1g, a very well know variety streamer, that can be considered a veteran of the streaming industry, and always streamed a variety of FPS titles. Summit1g has played Counter-Strike: Global Offensive at a somewhat high level, at one point in his career, even creating one of the most iconic moments in the history of the game. However, it was mostly Overwatch 2 that the steamer played in October, reaching 38.7K Peak Viewers while streaming the title. Summit1g viewers watched him play FPS games for 4.8 million hours, which makes up 89.1% of his total Hours Watched in October.

When someone mentions FPS streamers tarik is one of the first to come to everyone's mind. He has a rich professional career in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, where he played at the highest level for many years, winning multiple trophies, and being an important part of the first North American team to win a Major. In the recent past, tarik switched to Valorant and quickly became the most popular streamer of the game, with his watch parties breaking records. 99.4% of tarik Hours Watched in October come from streaming FPS titles, mainly Valorant. Viewers watched tarik play FPS games for 3.4 million hours, and he had 25.4K Peak Viewers while streaming Valorant.

ML7support secured sixth place with 98.5% of his Hours Watched in October coming from broadcasting FPS games, in a total of 2.5 million Hours Watched. He is a very well-known and respected content creator in the Overwatch scene, who started streaming in 2017, and since then gained a loyal fan base. He became known for playing the support role, and he does it quite well. It should come as no surprise that mL7support reached its peak viewership of 46K while playing Overwatch 2.

Just like tarik, shroud is one of the faces of the FPS genre on Twitch, and in the streaming world in general. He had a very successful career as a professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player, winning a lot of titles, and being loved by the community. He is considered a veteran of the streaming world, and to many, he is the best FPS player in the world, since no matter the FPS game shroud can play it at a high level. In October 56.6% of his Hours Watched, the lowest percentage in the list, come from FPS games. Shroud viewers watched him stream titles of the genre for 2.4 million hours, and he had 62.4K Peak Viewers while playing Overwatch 2.

Securing the eighth place on the list with 100% of his Hours Watched coming from FPS games, we have former Overwatch 2 champion and MVP sinatraa. Sinatraa is considered by many the best Overwatch player of all time since he dominated the league, winning everything a player could dream of. During October, sinatraa FPS broadcasts were watched for 2.3 million hours, with him reaching 38K Peak Viewers while playing Overwatch 2.

Emongg is yet another ex-professional Overwatch player, which played in the same team as sinatraa, that made the list. He has played multiple FPS titles competitively throughout the years, in both consoles and PC, but it's from Overwatch that he gained recognition. 69% of Emongg Hours Watched come from FPS titles, as viewers watched his broadcasts of the genre for 2.1 million hours. Like most of the streamers in this list, Emongg achieved his peak viewership of 39.8K while streaming Overwatch 2

Last but not least we have former professional Overwatch player dafran. He left the competitive scene in 2019, and since then became a full-time streamer, playing mostly Overwatch 2. In October 95.1% of his Hours Watched came from streaming FPS titles. He reached 47.6K Peak Viewers while streaming Overwatch 2. Worth noting that streamer and FaZe Clan co-owner NICKMERCS, who plays mostly Apex Legends, was very close to making this list.

As we can see there are plenty of popular streamers that dedicate most of their time to playing FPS games. These streamers have a huge fan base, and some of them can play multiple titles of the genre, and still attract the interest of thousands of viewers regularly. It's worth noting that Overwatch 2 was the game most streamers on this list were playing when they reached their peak viewership. This further proves how popular the game has become since its release, as it attracted many players. We will continue to see most of these content creators dedicate themselves to FPS games, and entertaining thousands of people along the way.
