Rumble viewership recap — June 2023

Rumble viewership recap — June 2023
Share:

Rumble is a video-hosting site founded in 2013, and also an upcoming live-streaming platform. In contrast to sites like Twitch or Trovo, Rumble is not originally a video game website. Twitch hosts a multitude of diverse content for its audiences, but it was a video game website on its rise to the top. Rumble offers a distinct look and feel to its content and it has become a fresh addition to the live-streaming sphere. Plus, with KaiCenat and IShowSpeed signing a multimillion-dollar deal with Rumble, their popularity could be about to boom.

Streams Charts just recently began offering Rumble viewership data and metrics, so let’s take a look at some of the metrics of last month.

Rumble Viewership metrics (June 2023)

Rumble Viewership Statistics for June 2023

Rumble collected 27.7M Hours Watched throughout the month with a Peak Viewers of 475K. Although Rumble’s total Hours Watched for June is less than 2% of what Twitch amassed during the same time period (1.7B Hours Watched), Rumble had an Average Viewers per Channel of 546, whereas Twitch’s figure lies only at 27. This means Rumble streamers see, on average, 1900% more viewers than Twitch streamers.

Rumble's Peak Viewers this month is a new record for the site. Andrew Tate's comeback stream was broadcasted live on Rumble and received over 400K Peak Viewers. The spike in viewership cemented the stream as one of the most-watched English-speaking streams of all time.

In Rumble’s statistical debut with Streams Charts, Rumble has already bested Tencent Games’ Trovo. Trovo is a Chinese video game streaming platform that is being tested in the global market with moderate success. Since the start of the year, Trovo has brought in 10-15 million Hours Watched a month. In direct comparison, Rumble enjoyed 174% more watch-time per Hours Watched in June than Trovo. Although defeated in this aspect by Rumble, Trovo has Average Channels lying somewhere between 1200-1700 each month. As it stands, Rumble is more enticing for an audience, but Trovo is even more attractive for streamers.

As time goes on, Streams Charts will continue to track the data and metrics for Rumble, so that our PRO subscribers can stay in the loop of how the live-streaming platform is evolving.

Most Watched Channels on Rumble, per Hours Watched (June 2023)

Most Watched Rumble Channels according to Hours Watched (Jun 2023)

Looking at the metrics of the most watched channels on Rumble, the huge popularity of right-wing media is immediately apparent. Of the top ten, six of these channels are American conservative media organisations. The remaining are personal channels of American conservative political commentators (Steven Crowder and The Dan Bongino Show), RT, and TateSpeech featuring Andrew Tate

InfoWars and Newsmax TV were very similar statistically, but InfoWars edged out Newsmax TV for the top spot. Alongside RT and RealAmericanVoice, these channels amassed a statistically almost unbelievable amount of watch time. InfoWars alone almost made up 10% of all Hours Watched for the entire website in June. However, they achieved this by broadcasting almost 700 hours of Airtime. Keep in mind, the entire month of June only has 720 hours in it.

TateSpeech by Andrew Tate remains the only channel not directly related to politics. Andrew Tate moved to Rumble following bans on most mainstream social media. After announcing his planned move to Rumble, the app for the site was briefly the most downloaded app on the App Store. Although Tate featured in the penultimate spot of this comparison, he achieved this spot with only five hours of Airtime during the month.

Most popular Rumble Channels, per Peak Viewers (June 2023)

Most Popular Rumble Channels according to Peak Viewers (Jun 2023)

Moving away from Hours Watched and to Peak Viewers, the true popularity of Tate’s content can be seen. With a Peak Viewers figure of 433K, Tate was far and beyond the most popular streamer on the site.

Following just behind Tate with 308K Peak Viewers was The Kai N’ Speed Show. KaiCenat and IShowSpeed are two of the most popular streamers in content creation, especially among young Anglo-American audiences. The two streaming titans signed a multimillion-dollar deal with Rumble to produce a live program. The series debuted with 133K Peak Viewers in May, but the second episode of the series was finally released almost a month later, peaking at 308K Viewers. With hype building up behind the two young creators, the show could be one of Rumble’s biggest hits.

Right-wing news and politics remain popular, such as organisations Right Side Broadcasting Network and X22 Report, but independent right-wing creators also found solid success. Steven Crowder brought in 79K Peak Viewers and was followed closely by The Dan Bongino Show and Phil Godlewski 2.0

JiDion, an American YouTuber and vlogger with 7.4M subscribers on YouTube was the sole non-political channel to make the list after Tate and the Kai/Speed collaboration. His Peak Viewers figure of 79K marks a 464% increase in Peak Viewers, compared to his second most popular stream by the same metric.

Finally, Rumble is showing promise not only for political content but also as a platform for politicians to advertise and promote their campaigns. Both former US president Donald J. Trump and the nephew of former US president JFK Robert F. Kennedy Jr. took to Rumble to upload content. Both politicians are making a run at the presidential election in 2024, Trump for Republicans and RFK for Democrats, and Rumble is proving to be a useful tool to garner attention. Their content so far has been popular enough for them to be some of the most successful creators on Rumble.

Most Watched Female Channels on Rumble, per Hours Watched (June 2023)

Most Watched Female Rumble Streamers according to Hours Watched (Jun 2023)

Interestingly, compared to the overall most watched streamers the most watched female streamers are entirely political commentators. Channels such as JULIE GREEN MINISTRIES and Ark of Grace Ministries have a focus on religious enlightenment but also dip their toes into political waters more often than not.

Wendy Bell Radio
took the top place with 396K Hours Watched in June. Wendy Bell took first ranking with the help of 66 hours of Airtime, markedly more than her peers. Runner-up was JULIE GREEN MINISTRIES, who although mainly a biblical and religious channel, self-reportedly focuses on political news and ties this into her religious content. She uses Rumble to “post videos without having to use code words” and has found success with 152K Hours Watched over only 12 hours of Airtime

Two duo channels, Chicks On The Right & Diamond and Silk also made their way into the top ten. These channels feature two female co-hosts who deliver reactions and political content to their fans.

Onto Peak Viewers, JULIE GREEN MINISTRIES overtakes Wendy Bell Radio for the top spot, with 23K Peak Viewers in comparison to Bell’s 9K. Although slightly shifted around, the top ten remains the same when comparing Hours Watched to Peak Viewers, with one exception: Delora O’Brien - The Gathering achieved 2K Peak Viewers, enough to knock the Grace Curley Show out of the top 10 when compared to Hours Watched.

Delora O’Brien is another quasi-biblical quasi-political channel, providing content dealing with the Christian religion and how these lessons may tie into American politics. Delora’s name is on the channel but she also produces the content alongside her husband Dennis. Another enjoyer of Rumble’s focus on freedom of speech, Delora O’Brien’s channel notes the “no holds barred” atmosphere of Rumble.

Rumble viewership is nothing to scoff at, although smaller than the likes of Twitch, Rumble is building up a steady and solid audience for their niche content. Creators on Rumble currently enjoy a wide and deep audience pool, on a platform with relatively little competition. Expect this platform to grow in size in terms of creators very quickly as people catch up. With heavily politicised channels and topics dominating the platform, it is still up for debate if content like The Kai N’ Speed Show will take over Rumble or become a secondary concern. Follow Esports Charts as we update our readers on how Rumble develops in regard to viewership metrics and data.
