Streams Charts expands Chat Analytics to include Kick and YouTube Gaming

Streams Charts expands Chat Analytics to include Kick and YouTube Gaming

Streams Charts, a leading livestreaming analytics platform, has expanded its Chat Analytics add-on to cover Kick and YouTube Gaming, in addition to Twitch. The update also enhances the Chat Analyzer tool, allowing users to track keywords and mentions across all three platforms. This upgrade marks a major step forward in helping publishers, brands, and creators understand community engagement across the world’s three largest livestreaming platforms.

Chat is the heartbeat of any livestream—it’s where communities gather, react, and show real engagement,” said Nazar Babenko, Product Manager at Streams Charts. “By adding Kick and YouTube Gaming alongside Twitch, we give our clients a complete view of how audiences interact across platforms. This helps them not only evaluate performance but also understand community dynamics at a deeper level.

What’s new

Kick Chat Analytics. Since July 2025, Streams Charts has been collecting chat data from tens of thousands of Kick channels, with coverage increasing daily. Users will gain access to complete chat logs and ready-to-use engagement metrics.

YouTube Gaming Chat Analytics. Tracking now includes hundreds of leading creators in the gaming segment, with full chat logs and metrics available as well.

Twitch Chat Analytics (existing). Streams Charts continues to provide detailed Twitch chat analytics, covering approximately 200,000 channels since January 2022, including complete chat logs and engagement rates down to the stream level.

Enhanced Chat Analytics with Chat Analyzer

The update also expands the Streams Charts Chat Analyzer, allowing users to track mentions of specific brands, keywords, or ad campaigns across Twitch, YouTube, and Kick chats. Previously limited to Twitch, Chat Analyzer now covers all three platforms, providing a fast and flexible way to explore trends and audience conversations across livestreaming communities.

For example, over the past month, by searching a keyword like “viewbotting,” users can clearly track how discussion volumes shifted across platforms. The most notable surge occurred around August 24–26, when mentions spiked on Kick and also grew on Twitch, while YouTube activity remained minimal.

This reflects how viewbotting became a hot topic in late August, fueled by community debates and controversies about inflated viewer numbers and new anti-viewbotting measures on streaming platforms. Such context makes Chat Analyzer a valuable tool for analyzing engagement, spotting trends, and understanding audience behavior in real time.

Why it matters

Chat is one of the most authentic signals of community engagement in livestreaming. Unlike view counts, which can be inflated by viewbotting, chat activity reflects how invested an audience truly is in the content and the streamer. By expanding to Kick and YouTube Gaming, Streams Charts now enables:

  • Cross-platform benchmarking—marketers, brands, and other stakeholders can directly compare audience loyalty and activity across Twitch, Kick, and YouTube to see where real communities thrive.

  • Campaign & event measurement—influencer marketing and esports teams can move beyond views to analyze how audiences actively respond during branded activations, tournaments, and key live moments.

  • Transparency in a fragmented market—as creators and viewers diversify across multiple platforms, unified chat analytics helps cut through the noise and highlight genuine engagement.

Availability and pricing

The expansion is included in the Chat Analytics add-on at no additional cost. Pricing remains the same at $500.

  • To access Kick and YouTube Gaming analytics, users must have the relevant platform(s) enabled alongside the Chat Analytics add-on.

  • Add-on users can also request tracking of additional channels not yet covered.

With this update, Streams Charts strengthens its position as the analytics provider offering comprehensive, stream-level chat data across all major livestreaming platforms. For creators, brands, and publishers alike, this means a clearer picture of where audiences are most engaged—and how communities truly come alive in chat.
