The famous football game was released on the 30th of September, in an edition that marks the end of the partnership between Electronic Arts and FIFA, which makes it even more special. Since its release, it has become one of the most-watched games on the platform with 73.8 million Hours Watched in the past thirty days, a 33K% increase in the previous number of HW.
There are many popular FIFA streamers on Twitch, such as Castro_1021, RocKy_, and Trymacs, but none of them had more impact in growing the popularity of the game than eliasn97. The german streamer, who was the fourth most subbed steamer on the platform in Q3, accounted for 10% of all the Hours Watched of the game.
#2 - Pokémon Community Game
Pokémon Community Game is the second most trending game on the platform with 10.8 million Hours Watched. Despite much better numbers than the ones achieved previously, it’s still far from the ones FIFA managed to reach. Its recent success is due to the Pokémon Twitch Cup 2, an event that joins the biggest Spanish streamers in a personalized and very detailed pokemon map that is not available to the public. Twitch stars such as ibai, Mixwell, aXoZer, and many others are participating in the event. Despite all the big names attending the tournament, IlloJuan was the most important streamer in the recent growth the game has seen. The charismatic Spanish streamer accounted for 25% of all the Hours Watched of the title.

Grounded was released on the 27th of September, and the survival adventure game, which has received a lot of praise from players, quickly became the game of choice for variety streamers. It had a 4K% growth in HW, reaching 7.5 million Hours Watched. Streamers such as CohhCarnage, Elajjaz, and Tonton, were very important to the growth of the game, but it was alanzoka, one of the biggest Brazilian streamers, that played the most important role in the growth of the title. He mainly streams the game with some of his friends, who are also content creators, which makes his broadcasts of the game very funny and entertaining, captivating many Portuguese-speaking viewers. He accounted for 14% of the game’s Hours Watched.
#4 - Gundam Evolution
Gundam Evolution is an FPS video game, that is based on the popular Japanese animation franchise Gundam. It was released on the 21st of September, and some of the top names on Twitch, such as xQc and moistcr1tikal, were quick to try the game out. Viewers watched the game for 7.3 million hours in the past thirty days, with variety streamer fps_shaka, arguably the biggest Japanese streamer in the platform, being responsible for 12% of all the HW. Gundam Evolution sponsored many streamers to play the game, which had a positive effect on its viewership numbers.
#5 - Terraria
The RPG action game Terraria was the fifth most trending game of the past thirty days on Twitch. Terraria is a very well know game, with many positive reviews, and had a resurgence in the past thirty days. Quin69 was the main responsible for the astonishing increase in HW that Terraria had, going from 617K HW to 4.8 million Hours Watched. The streamer created a series called “ZENITH HC”, which is a perma death series, meaning if he dies the game is over. If that happens he will also gift 500 subs, which certainly makes things even more interesting, and has captivated the attention of thousands of viewers.
