Top League of Legends streamers of 2025

Top League of Legends streamers of 2025

League of Legends has long outgrown the label of “just another popular game” as it sits in a rare category reserved for true giants of livestreaming. It supports everything at once: relaxed, casual streams meant for unwinding after work; high-intensity solo queue grinds from aspiring professionals looking to prove something; and, of course, one of the largest and most mature esports ecosystems in the world, spanning continents and drawing millions of viewers to its biggest events.

Standing out in that environment is no small achievement. Reaching the top tier of League of Legends livestreamers means competing not only with other creators but with the sheer weight of the game’s history, audience expectations, and nonstop competition for attention. By the end of 2025, the ranking of the game’s most-watched streamers reflected just how broad that landscape has become. It featured active and former pro players, full-time variety streamers as well as established esports casters, all drawing audiences in very different ways.

The list also highlighted the global nature of the League of Legends scene today. Creators from different regions, streaming in different languages, across different platforms, all found their place at the top. Some built their audiences by committing to a single platform, others by reaching viewers wherever they watch. What united them was not a shared format or background, but the ability to turn League of Legends into compelling live content in an ecosystem where doing so is harder than ever.

At the very top of the 2025 League of Legends livestreaming landscape stands Marc “Caedrel” Lermont, and the gap behind him is not subtle. Caedrel finished the year as the undisputed number one, the only creator to surpass 100 million Hours Watched, and by a margin that almost doubled the viewership of his closest challenger. While the vast majority of his airtime came from Twitch, occasional YouTube streams only reinforced what had already become clear: Caedrel is a primary destination for watching competitive League of Legends for English-speaking audiences.

That status did not appear overnight. Over the past two years, Caedrel has combined sharp game knowledge, self-aware humor and relentless tournament coverage into a near-perfect formula. He co-streams almost every major regional and international event, while also remaining deeply embedded in the competitive ecosystem as a co-owner of Los Ratones, a team that has generated serious buzz across Europe’s tier-2 scene. The result is a constant stream of relevant content, and in 2025, viewers followed in overwhelming numbers.

From Europe, the spotlight shifts to Brazil, where Gustavo “Baiano” Gomes emerged as the ranking’s clearest example of how powerful multi-platform streaming can be. A former professional player, Baiano successfully reinvented himself as a full-time creator and caster, broadcasting across YouTube, Twitch and Kick throughout the year. YouTube remains the core of his audience, but his ability to draw substantial viewership on multiple platforms sets him apart. In many ways, Baiano occupies the same role in Brazil that Caedrel does in Europe: a central figure for LoL esports discussion in a region where interest in the game remains enormous.

Any global League of Legends ranking would feel incomplete without Korea, the game’s most competitive and culturally entrenched market. Third place belongs to Lee “Sangho” Sang-ho, also known as Ishooooo, streaming on SOOP Korea. Like several others on this list, he is a former professional player who found his long-term footing in streaming rather than competition. Since September, he has represented T1, the most popular esports organization in the world, a move that further amplified his reach. A significant share of his audience tunes in specifically for esports-focused content, reinforcing how closely Korean viewership remains tied to the professional scene.

Vietnam follows close behind, represented by Phan "BaRoiBeo" Tấn, also known as Phan Tấn Trung, who placed fourth overall. As both a streamer and the owner of SBTC Esports, Thầy Giáo Ba is one of the most influential figures in Vietnam’s League of Legends ecosystem. He was among the earliest LoL streamers in the country and remains one of its most recognizable personalities. Mechanical brilliance has never been his defining trait, but charisma, accessibility and longevity have earned him a loyal audience as Vietnam’s interest in the game continues to grow year after year.

Korea appears once again with Kim “Phonics1” Min-gyo, another SOOP Korea streamer who has steadily grown into one of the platform’s biggest League of Legends personalities. Blending solid game understanding with entertainment, Phonics1 has become especially well known for co-casting LCK matches and major international events. His rise reflects a broader trend in Korea, where high-energy co-streamers increasingly complement traditional broadcast coverage rather than compete with it.

From there, the ranking transitions back to Europe and a cluster of Twitch-based creators. Sixth place went to German streamer Frederik “NoWay” Hinteregger, a long-standing figure in the scene and a member of the streamer collective No Need Orga. His broadcasts consistently attract thousands of German-speaking viewers, built on years of community trust rather than viral spikes.

Just behind him is Sweden’s Simon “Thebausffs” Hofverberg, a rare hybrid of high-level skill and unmistakable personality. Both a streamer and an active professional player, Thebausffs also competes for Caedrel’s Los Ratones roster. His success rests on the same simple combination that defines many of the biggest LoL creators: strong gameplay, a distinctive style, and a willingness to embrace chaos on stream.

Eighth place belongs to French creator Kamel “Kameto” Kebir, whose relationship with League of Legends is shaped less by solo queue and more by ownership. While Kameto is best known as a variety streamer, LoL became central to his 2025 viewership thanks to Karmine Corp, the team he owns. KC enjoyed its strongest year to date, winning LEC 2025 Winter, remaining competitive across other splits, and reaching the final of First Stand, their first tier-S international tournament, where they ultimately fell to Hanwha Life Esports. Kameto’s co-streams of these matches naturally drew massive audiences, making LoL an undeniable pillar of his content this year.

Japan’s presence comes via k4sen, who finished seventh overall and stands out for a very different reason. Unlike most names on this list, k4sen is not a former pro, team owner or caster. Instead, he has become the game’s leading evangelist in Japan by organizing and hosting League The k4sen, a series of showmatch and amateur tournaments supported by ZETA DIVISION and Riot Games. His role is less about mastery of the game and more about building an accessible, entertaining gateway for new audiences.

Rounding out the ranking is Spain’s Sergio “Knekro” Maroto, an official co-caster for Movistar KOI. Originally known for his presence at the Pokémon World Championships, Knekro’s profile within League of Legends grew significantly in 2025 as he took on much of the co-streaming responsibility previously handled by Ibai, the club’s owner. As a result, he became a familiar voice during LEC broadcasts and secured a solid audience of his own.
