Virtual YouTubers (VTubers) were busy during the holiday period, ensuring a handful populated the most-watched YouTube Gaming channels list for December 2025. There were a few other prominent names as well who ended the year on a busy note, giving titles like Fortnite and Roblox more visibility.

Among organizational channels, one name stood out, as it covered the most prominent esports event held in the last month of 2025. We also had the official channel of a coveted awards show put in some serious numbers, reflecting just how prestigious such ceremonies have become in the livestreaming industry.

Among channels belonging to organizations, StarLadder CS2 LIVE finished at the peak, having covered the second Counter-Strike 2 Major of the year from Budapest, Hungary. These English broadcasts accrued 5.73 million Hours Watched (HW) in December 2025. Moreover, the Grand Final peaked at 216,426 Peak Viewers (PV), a new record for the channel.

Next comes the official channel of The Game Awards, which many see as the industry's biggest ceremony. Thegameawards was the only other entry here to pass the 5 million HW mark, with the show accumulating 18.8 million watch hours, a new record for the series. The turn-based role-playing title, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, won nine awards from 13 nominations, creating history as the first debut game to win the Game of the Year trophy.

Third is a channel more popular in Japan, Dozle (ドズル社), a group of five enthusiasts who provide video game commentary. They are especially known for their Minecraft projects, and in December 2025, they celebrated their fifth anniversary with the Dozle 5th Anniversary Fest. Apart from their regular challenge videos, the group also held collaboration efforts with other content groups like Colorful Peach (KaraPichi) and livestreams looking back at the year gone by.

With Arena of Valor being one of the titles to see its world championship held in December 2025, it had two channels on this table. Liên Quân Mobile eSports-Garena and Garena RoV Thailand, official channels for two of the MOBA's biggest markets in Vietnam and Thailand, respectively, reached over 1.6 million HW each. They also covered the esports events of the 33rd Southeast Asian Games, with the men's segment creating an esports record for the title.

Sticking with world championship events, the PC and Mobile versions of PUBG saw their most coveted events take place in December 2025. Both did well in terms of livestreaming viewership, with two official channels, PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS VIETNAM and PUBG MOBILE Indonesia, entering this top-ten leaderboard.

We also have ESL Dota 2, the official channel of the German organizer that livestreamed matches of the DreamLeague Season 27, which kicked off the ESL Pro Tour for the 2025/2026 season. Finally, the MPL Malaysia channel hit just over 1 million HW by broadcasting action from the SEA Games 2025 and the IESF World Esports Championships 2025.

When it comes to rankings by peak concurrent viewership, the top rank goes to thegameawards, with new records created for the channel and the series. The official Brawl Stars stars channel also cut, reaching just over 304,000 Peak Viewers during the latest BRAWL TALK, which covered news and updates straight from the developer team for fans.

The official Nijisanji (にじさんじ) channel did 247,000 PV for its livestream of the countdown event for the new year on December 31, 2025, which involved many of its VTubers. The official Monster Strike channel (モンスト(モンスターストライク)公式) also made this list, with one of its final broadcasts of the year serving as a forum for fans to get the latest information on the mobile role-playing physics game.

Looking at the content creators' list, the topper is the fast-rising VTuber, TheBurntPeanut. He was the only one here to cross the 10 million HW mark, with most of his livestreams focusing on ARC Raiders, which has taken over the community since its full release in October 2025.

Familiar rivals Miko Ch. and Pekora Ch. made it a clean sweep for VTubers on the podium of this leaderboard. The two continue to be inseparable in terms of viewership figures, even as they fight for the title of most popular VTuber globally. The latter also hosted the successful event featuring other Hololive VTubers, Holo Dragon Minecraft.

They were joined by Ririka Kurumizawa (胡桃沢りりか) and Subaru Ch. in the top ten, with the former, a rising independent VTuber, playing a variety of games last month to accrue over 2.7 million HW. Subaru, meanwhile, spent December 2025 participating in collaboration events like the Holo Dragon Minecraft and holding subathons playing titles like Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair.

YouTube Gaming's top Canadian streamer by watch time for 2025, Andre "Typical Gamer" Rebelo, finished among December 2025's most-watched names as well. The Fortnite sensation was happy playing Epic Games' iconic builder shooter last month, as things were still new following the launch of its Chapter 7 season.

Caylus "CaylusBlox" Cunningham continued his run in these rankings despite a less-than-busy 30 days that saw his month-on-month watch time drop by 42%. He was joined by Nolan "steak" Crait, another growing Roblox content creator from America, also sneaking in after attracting just over 2.1 million HW in December 2025.

Đỗ Duy "Levi" Khánh, the Vietnamese former League of Legends pro turned streamer, touched 2.7 million watch hours last month. Unlike others, his content was not focused on esports broadcasts or any competitive livestreams, but rather on broadcasting his own gameplay. He has attracted quite a few followers this way, as his ranked grinding has become popular among fans of the MOBA in the Southeast Asian country.

A look at the corresponding table for peak live viewership reveals that a lot of the names above enjoy high viewership engagement. However, a fresh VTuber in Noel Ch. made an appearance, helped by her participation in the HoloBonCup, a Super Bomberman R2 tournament featuring members of the Hololive production agency.

Star Mobile Legends: Bang Bang influencers Rivaldi "R7 Tatsumaki" Fatah and Ade "set1awanade" Pamungkas also made this top ten on the backs of covering the Games of the Future 2025 event in Abu Dhabi. They were joined by Abraham "ElAbrahaham" Flores, the fast-growing Hispanic star whose Minecraft content continued to earn him fans globally.
