Streams Charts continues to summarize the results of 2021 on Twitch. Now is the time to talk about the most watched Portuguese-speaking streamers of the service and the changes in their viewer activity compared to the previous year.
Alexandre Gaules Borba again took the first spot in terms of Hours Watched (165.39M), and compared to 2020, his result increased by 24%. Note that the Brazilian took second place in the 2021 world streamer ranking. He broadcasts many of the top CS:GO tournaments, and his channel pretty much does not go off the air. On the stream of the match FURIA vs. Gambit in the playoffs of PGL Major Stockholm 2021 Gaules managed to attract 343.31K Peak Viewers which was the highest such indicator across the Portuguese-speaking segment.
The runner-up, loud_coringa, got 60% fewer Hours Watched. In 2021, viewers spent almost 100M hours on his channel, which allowed it to enter the top 10 for the first time. At the same time, the broadcasts attracted 62.74K Average Viewers, making the content creator of the LOUD esports club the most successful Brazilian streamer based on this indicator.

Due to the increased popularity of loud_coringa, such streamers as alanzoka, YoDa, Cellbit, and Baiano all dropped one spot in the ranking. They took the third, fourth, sixth, and seventh spots respectively, and pretty much kept their last year's viewership indicators intact.
The sports commentator casimito, better known as casimiro, became yet another newcomer to the top 10 most viewed Portuguese-speaking streamers. In 2021, he managed to amass over 31M Hours Watched on his Twitch channel, which is 585% more than the year before. This growth of the audience allowed the Brazilian to occupy the fifth spot in the ranking.
In fact, casimito took the spot of NOBRU, who lost about 40% of its audience in 2021 and dropped to the ninth spot of the ranking as a result. At the same time, the streamer spent 13% more time on the air than in 2020. The decrease in viewership is due to the increased competition in the Garena Free Fire category, to which NOBRU devotes most of his time.
The streamer of the FURIA team known as mount became a newcomer to the ranking with a slightly less impressive audience growth than that of casimito. Hours Watched of his channel in 2021 increased by 371% and reached 19.29M, which allowed him to climb to the eighth spot in the top.
Closing the top 10 most-watched Portuguese-speaking streamers on Twitch in 2021 was a Fortnite player from the team Cloud9 - Patrick blxckoutz Garcia. Back in the summer of 2020, the e-athlete decided to take an example from the region’s most popular streamer and stopped turning off his stream. In 2021, blxckoutz was on air 26 hours more than Gaules, which helped to amass 13.97M Hours Watched.
It is worth noting that Rakin, jukes, JohnPitterTV, and JonVlogs, which occupied the last four spots at the end of 2020, left the top 10. While some of them improved their performance, they were still outmatched by other streamers.

In 2021, the most viewed streamers in Brazil were two rather different content creators. Gaules is almost entirely responsible for the coverage of CS:GO, which is hugely popular in the country. Loud_coringa broadcasts casual games (mostly RP GTA Online), attracting the attention of a younger audience.
