The third quarter of 2024 has Twitch alight with esports coverage, IRL broadcasts, and the general gaming content the purple platform is best known for. Streams Charts has collected viewership data for all Twitch streamers throughout the third quarter of the year to highlight the top creators, rising stars, and current standings of the most-watched Twitch streamers.
Leading the way, ibai was the most-watched Twitch channel for the entire platform with 37.94M Hours Watched generated throughout the three months. The Spaniard internet celebrity collected a significant portion of his watch time while co-casting League of Legends esports events, especially those featuring his organization, MAD Lions KOI. But ibai’s true claim-to-fame for the quarter was his La Velada del Año 4 event, which reached 3.85M Peak Viewers. Not only did ibai outperform all other streamers this quarter by peak concurrent viewers, but he set the new Peak Viewers record for Twitch with 3.85M concurrent viewers: a record he has consistently broken with his La Velada del Año event series.
Following ibai, many top creators from North America featured in both our Hours Watched and Peak Viewers metrics. KaiCenat was the undisputed next-most-popular streamer after ibai. The North American reached 457K Peak Viewers during a collaborative stream featuring Mr Beast, now his second-most-popular broadcast, falling only behind his collaboration with Kevin Hart.
Top Twitch Streamers in Q3, 2024

Top Twitch streamers of Q3 2024 by Hours Watched & Peak Viewers
Aside from North America and Spanish-speaking audiences, Japanese creators were well-represented by うん〇ちゃん (kato_junichi0817) and fps_shaka. Kato reached 295K Peak Viewers during the quarter, a new personal record, while discussing allegations of him being unfaithful to his wife. Drama fuels press which fuels engagements, and Kato’s interaction with these allegations, and his eventual admission, only helped him to grow his channel and online presence.
Other sizeable audiences for Twitch, including French, German, and Russian-speaking ones specifically, were also represented by local creators. These languages, on top of English, Spanish, and Japanese, are the most significant portions of Twitch’s overall viewer base, and the streamers featuring in our rankings here are the industry-leading streamers for many of these language groups.
Top Twitch Channels in Q3, 2024

Top Twitch Organization Channels of Q3 2024 by Hours Watched & Peak Viewers
Moving from personal Twitch channels to organization-owned ones, esports tournaments and events dominated the third quarter of the year. Dota 2 and Counter-Strike were among the two most popular esports titles on Twitch, headed by the Dota2ti and ESLCS channels, with games like Valorant falling behind slightly.
Speedrunning events like GamesDoneQuick and RTAInJapan also performed well, achieving 9.16M and 6.69M Hours Watched, respectively. DiarioMARCA and RMCsport were the only two channels in our rankings here not to reflect gaming or esports-related content. DiarioMARCA reached 179K Peak Viewers their coverage of the UEFA Euros football competition: Spain defeating England in the final was enough to launch DiarioMARCA’s to a new viewership record for the channel. The RMCsport account covers a wide variety of sporting events from football to table tennis, but their most popular stream of the quarter was their broadcast of UFC Paris, which reached 148K Peak Viewers.
Top Female Twitch Streamers in Q3, 2024
On the female side of Twitch, ironmouse reigned supreme with 9.09M Hours Watched thanks to an extensive subathon held by the Puerto Rican. In fact, the subathon is still ongoing, bleeding into the next quarter and going strong. Ironmouse’s popularity is of no question, the VTuber even became Twitch’s most-subscribed to creator during this subathon, but the raw amount of time a subathon spends live on broadcast also helped ironmouse to record more than 66% of her total watch time in September alone.
Other popular female creators for the quarter include IRL streamer Jinnytty, OTK streamer Emiru, and one of Valorant’s top streamers overall, Kyedae. ExtraEmily managed to increase her watch time by over 40% this quarter compared to Q2, largely thanks to her extensive TwitchCon coverage, including a road trip and various streams building hype for the convention and generating Emily views.
MissMikkaa also appeared in our rankings yet again. The Swedish streamer has built up an audience for herself across 2023 and 2024 so far, and Q3 marked some of her most-watched months on Twitch, ever. Her popularity only seems to be increasing, and we will likely see her make many more appearances in these top 10s in the future.
Top Twitch Streamers from North America in Q3 2024
Across North American streamers, Just Chatting creators were some of the most popular on the platform. HasanAbi, zackrawrr (Asmongold), plaqueboxmax, stableronaldo, and jasontheween are all well-known Just Chatting streamers who generated a majority of their watch time for the quarter from it. The latter three of these streamers all benefitted heavily from a FaZe Clan subathon. Similar to ironmouse, these streamers recorded massive increases to their total broadcasting time for Q3, while also increasing their average viewership, meaning a substantial boost to viewership.
Outside these three who took part in subathons, the other top-performing streamers from North America actually all streamed less in Q3. Tarik recorded the largest drop in Airtime, live for 35% hours fewer as the Turkish-American streamer took a well-deserved holiday for the entire month of September. If tarik had continued to broadcast throughout September, he would have likely ranked somewhere within the top 5 streamers of the quarter.
Top Twitch Streamers from Europe in Q3, 2024
Heading across the pond to Europe, Spain and Germany were both well-represented as two of the largest audiences for Twitch from the region. Ibai, who topped the rankings thanks to his Special Events broadcast, was followed by Papaplatte and eliasn97, who also recorded most of their watch time through the Special Events category on Twitch. France, which usually presents many top streamers for our rankings, only contributed Kamet0 to the Q3 ranking.
Nix enjoyed one of his most successful quarters ever, significantly increasing his viewership thanks to his coverage of Dota 2’s end-of-year event, The International. His Russian-language broadcasts of the event were highly watched, and Nix increased his viewership by 429% for Q3, finishing the quarter with 13.61M Hours Watched.
Top Twitch Streamers from Latin America in Q3, 2024
Similar to ibai in Europe, no streamer could come close to matching ironmouse from Latin America. Another Puerto Rican creator alondrissa has launched herself to the top of Twitch by heavily collaborating with and featuring other creators and internet celebrities on her channel. She reached over 150K Peak Viewers in July while having famous Puerto Rican rapper Young Miko on her broadcast.
The formula of collaborations and features is working out well for alondrissa; her channel has grown from under 100,000 Followers at the beginning of the year to well over 1.25M Followers now. As it stands, alondrissa is on track to become Latin America’s most popular streamer if her growth continues.
In general, viewership for Latin American streamers was actually on a downwards trend among the top creators. AQUINO was the only streamer besides ironmouse to record a significant increase in viewership for the quarter. His Minecraft content has exploded in popularity towards the end of September thanks to a new collaborative server featuring many creators, the Dedsafio 3 server.
Other livestreaming platforms like Kick have found a foothold for themselves in the LATAM market, and viewership for Twitch-based creators from this region could continue to fall in the future. International streamers like ironmouse who stream in English should at least be able to avoid this downturn of viewership.
Top Twitch Streamers from Brazil in Q3, 2024
Brazil’s livestreaming sector for Twitch is so massive that we have to give it its own category, so other creators from Latin America can shine. Similar to the rest of Latin America for this quarter, viewership was actually falling among the top streamers. Gaules, loud_coringa, and Baiano all recorded at least a 10% drop in average viewership for the quarter, with Baiano seeing his Average Viewers metric drop by 25% for the quarter.
The only Brazilian creators to record significant increases in watch time for the quarter were those broadcasting GTA V. PaulinhoLOKObr, TcK10, and Bkinho all generated a majority of their viewership for the quarter from GTA V streams, and all enjoyed boosts to their viewership. PaulinhoLOKObr enjoyed the largest increase, with his average viewership for the quarter settling at 33.6K AV, marking a 40% increase compared to Q2.
Top Twitch Streamers from Asia-Pacific in Q3, 2024
Finally, in the APAC region, Japan dominated Twitch viewership. Industry leaders like Kato and Fps_shaka were incontestable for other streamers, but many other Japanese VTubers and streamers made up the rest of our top 10. Kato enjoyed the largest increase in viewership for the quarter, thanks to his aforementioned marital issues, which were discussed live on-stream.
Many of these Japanese creators recorded most of their watch time through Minecraft. VCR, a collaboration between Japanese company vault room and esports organization Crazy Raccoon, launched a short-lived Minecraft server to test the waters. It was ultimately a massive success, and many Japanese creators saw record-breaking viewership for their channels during their Minecraft streams on the server.
New Zealand native Quin69 was the only non-Asian streamer to rank highly, surpassing the only other non-Japanese streamer, South Korea’s Jinnytty. Japan continues to dominate the Asian side of Twitch, with many other sizeable regions like Korea and China instead opting to broadcast on their own national livestreaming platforms.
