Top Valorant streamers of 2024

Top Valorant streamers of 2024

Valorant held onto its spot as the second most watched game on Twitch, just behind League of Legends. While the overall position of Riot Games’ shooter stayed steady, there were some big shifts among the top streamers.

Óscar "mixwell" Cañellas made a rapid rise into the top ten, becoming the only European in that group; Heitor “Tck10” Tomazela emerged as the leading community caster from Brazil; and Kyedae “Kyedae” Shymko was joined by two Canadian streamers who had recently made their mark in professional competitions and won major international tournaments. Streams Charts wrapped up the year’s Valorant scene, showcasing the standout content creators in the game right now.

Junichi “うん〇ちゃん” Kato, Hanjou “はんじょう” Desu and Hiromichi “mittiii” Urahigashi

Three spots in the rankings were claimed by streamers from Japan. Valorant is incredibly popular in the Japanese segment of Twitch, and this was only further confirmed in 2024. The share of Japanese broadcasts in Valorant increased from 15.8% to 17.9%, and this growth rate even outpaced some major languages like Turkish and Russian. Japanese is now the second most popular language for Valorant livestreaming, after English.

The most popular Japanese Valorant streamers in 2024 were うん〇ちゃん (kato_junichi0817), はんじょう (hanjoudesu), and im_mittiii. Each of them brings something unique to the table, and Japanese streamers stand out in several ways compared to their Western counterparts. For example, unlike Tarik and his crew, Kato and Hanjou don’t cover esports tournaments as regularly and often play other games alongside Valorant. They rack up a lot of watched time not through community casting, but by hosting show matches and regular ladder streams. Japanese creators focus more on creating content through lively reactions, shouting over their teammates, and celebrating round wins in an over-the-top way rather than through gameplay analysis.

Mittiii’s situation is a bit different. Unlike Kato and Hanjou, he streams tournaments much more frequently. In 2024, he covered several major events, including Valorant Champions and VCT Masters, streamed matches from the Pacific League, and even set a channel record during the VCT Pacific Kickoff. Mittiii has become one of the most-watched community casters for Valorant in Japanese, achieving impressive reach through the consistency of his streams.

Kyedae “Kyedae” Shymko and Tyson “TenZ” Ngo

The Canadian duo Kyedae and TenZ are once again among the top Valorant content creators. Since they're engaged in real life, we decided to keep them together in the year-end roundup, especially since they regularly stream together on Twitch and complement each other's content.

For several years now, Kyedae has been a consistent presence in the top ten Valorant streamers, surpassing many pro players; no other female content creator from any game can boast such an achievement. It's no longer up for debate that Kyedae is the leading female face of Valorant, and the past season proved her popularity is only growing. In 2024, she set a personal record, peaking at 148,463 viewers during the VCT 2024: Masters Madrid. She also made it into the top three community casters at Valorant Champions 2024 and led the pack during the VCT 2024: Game Changers Championship.

As for TenZ, he and Kyedae have essentially switched roles in recent years: TenZ used to outpace his fiancée in viewers, but he now streams less frequently as he is focused on tournament play.

For nearly three years, TenZ was a key part of Sentinels, racking up major success with the team. He won two VCT Masters titles, becoming only the second player in Valorant history to achieve that. In September 2024, TenZ left Sentinels and switched to streaming full-time for the organization. Now he's back to covering tournaments, grinding the ladder with friends, posting guides on YouTube, and more. TenZ is quickly reclaiming his spot as a top Valorant streamer, with a lot of help from his North American peers.

Heitor “Tck10” Tomazela

TcK10 became the most-watched Brazilian Valorant streamer in 2024, successfully taking over the title from Coreano and Coringa. His streams are always full of energy, as his favorite pastime is trolling other popular streamers and pro players in ranked matches. TcK often plays the role of the "bad guy", and his streams are packed with edgy humor and a lot of testosterone, which fans absolutely love. He has a striking resemblance to DrDisRespect and Freakazoid, so it's no surprise that this guy has a style.

In 2024, TcK joined Cloud9 as an official streamer, and he’s not only been trolling opponents in ranked, but also regularly covering C9’s tournament matches since then. Overall, TcK keeps a close eye on the entire Americas pro scene, and in addition to Cloud9, he also pays special attention to Brazilian teams like LOUD, MIBR, and FURIA Esports. TcK is now one of the most popular community casters for Valorant, consistently ranking among the top streamers in his language group.

Over the past year, TcK’s average viewership has doubled, and he hit a personal record for peak viewership, with 50,089 concurrent viewers tuning in at VCT 2024: Americas Stage 1.

Sam “s0m” Oh and Pujan “FNS” Mehta

S0m and FNS definitely deserve a spot together in the year-end roundup. Not only are they good friends, but they’re also teammates. In mid-2024, both players returned to the NRG Esports, a team they were part of in 2023. They also frequently team up for ranked matches during their Twitch streams, sharing a large portion of the audience.

Throughout 2024, s0m streamed more consistently, racking up twice as many hours of watch time as FNS. However, FNS managed to outdo his teammate in peak viewership: he hit 67,329 viewers during the VCT Pacific Grand Final, setting a new record for his channel.

Both s0m and FNS are also heavily involved in community casting for Valorant tournaments, often landing in the top 5 among English-speaking streamers. It’s clear this bromance isn’t going anywhere in 2025 and will only continue to solidify their spot at the top of the streaming world.

Óscar “Mixwell” Cañellas

Spanish streamer Mixwell is undoubtedly one of the fastest-growing Valorant streamers and the leading figure for the game in Europe. After leaving the game’s pro scene in 2023, Mixwell fully dedicated himself to live streaming and community casting. Oscar largely follows in the footsteps of Tarik: he actively covers leagues and tournaments, is one of the most-watched streamers in the VCT EMEA region, and broadcasts top matches from other regions. He amassed 2.5 times more total watch time this year compared to 2023.

After fully returning to live streaming, Mixwell is steadily climbing back up the Twitch rankings. During the Valorant Champions 2024 Grand Final between Team Heretics and EDward Gaming, he peaked at 79,139 concurrent viewers, his highest ever in the past 2.5 years.

Mixwell’s ambitions go far beyond just streaming tournaments: in 2025, he plans to launch his own esports organization, Otakar Esports, aimed at helping young players rise to the top of Valorant esports. He’s already started searching for players and coaches, as he announced on X.

It’s clear that Mixwell is following in the footsteps of streamers like Ibai, Kameto, Gotaga, and Grefg, who have turned their popularity into full-fledged esports brands with teams across different games.

Tarik “Tarik” Celik

American streamer Tarik became the most popular Valorant streamer of 2024, more than doubling the watch time of his peers. This massive success was also marked by a new personal milestone for tarik as he hit a peak of 313,484 concurrent viewers during the VCT 2024: Masters Madrid final between Sentinels and Gen.G. It was his most-popular stream ever and the top performance among all community casters in Valorant for 2024.

Tarik has been the face of Valorant livestreams for years now. His impact on the game's popularity is undeniable: he covers major international events like VCT Masters and Valorant Champions, keeps a close eye on the VCT Americas League, and even hosts his own show tournaments, like the Ludwig x Tarik Invitational. With his deep esports experience, Tarik isn't afraid to criticize teams or offer game advice, not just to his viewers, but even to pro players. It’s this bold approach that’s earned him a dedicated fanbase.

Tarik’s following continues to grow too: this year, he hit 3 million followers on Twitch and reached his first million followers on YouTube.
