The year is coming to an end, and it’s time to sum it all up. In a new Streams Charts article we'll tell you how Twitch streamers can get statistics on their achievements in 2021.
What is Twitch Recap 2021?
Twitch Recap is a yearly summary of your channel. It allows you to compare your achievements in 2021 with the previous year and find out something new (or what you might have missed) about your streaming activity. And you can share these statistics with your friends and compare it with other streamers as well.
Twitch Recap is made not only for streamers, but also for ordinary users. The platform offers different kinds of infographics: creators can find out data about their airtime, number of viewers, followers, and the most popular categories; viewers can see data about the number of messages sent, favorite streamers/categories, emotes, earned channel points, etc.
How to Get Your Twitch Recap 2021?
There are two ways to find out your 2021 results. The first one is to get the official Twitch Recap from the streaming service, but it is not as easy as it may seem: you will have to figure out the proper settings of your platform profile.
The second method is for streamers only, but it is much easier: you can get extended statistics of your channel for 2021 from the Streams Charts service. To do so, you just have to log in to our website using your Twitch account! Let's take a closer look at both methods.
#StreamsRecap
First, let's talk about the Steam Charts recap. On the Recap 2021 page you can see not only key metrics, but also global and language rankings of your channel. All this data can be downloaded for free with pretty infographics in different formats (both for Instagram and other social networks).
In addition, the #StreamsRecap page shows the most viewed clips on your channel over the year. You can also compile them into a single video and download it for free: all you have to do is wait for 5-10 minutes for the video to be generated.
This is how you can get your statistics for the year. It's very simple:
- Go to the #StreamsRecap page.
- Log in to the Streams Charts under your Twitch account.
- Download your statistics.
That's it! No email verification or other extra steps, it's as easy as it sounds.
Official Twitch Recap 2021
Twitch sends out 2021 statistics to its users on its own. Twitch Recap is available in two forms (for streamers and viewers), but you can't get the results yourself. You have to wait for the official email from the streaming service.
How to get the letter:
- Log in to Twitch.
- Go to "Settings" and open the "Notifications” tab.
- Scroll to the very end of the "By Email" list and make sure that you agree to receive marketing emails.
- Wait for an email from the platform.
Many Twitch users are having trouble getting their Recap, according to some posts on Twitter. Some of them get viewership statistics instead of streaming activity or vice versa, others don't get emails at all, and some people find the statistics messages in “Spam”, so don't forget to check this section from time to time.
