While European TwitchCon events have traditionally been smaller in scale than their US counterparts, the latest edition in the Netherlands still proved to be a strong digital draw. According to Streams Charts data, TwitchCon Rotterdam 2026 reached more than 102K peak concurrent viewers, reaffirming the strength of Europe’s community-event audience.
TwitchCon Rotterdam 2026 viewership statistics
European TwitchCon events have historically attracted smaller online audiences than the US editions, and TwitchCon Rotterdam 2026 continued that broader trend.
Altogether, streams from TwitchCon Rotterdam 2026 generated more than 1.3 million Hours Watched over the event’s two days. For comparison, TwitchCon San Diego 2025 recorded roughly 7.6 million Hours Watched across a three-day event. The gap is not surprising, however: the San Diego edition featured a much broader streamer lineup and a heavier event schedule, including show tournaments for Fortnite and Marvel Rivals.

TwitchCon Rotterdam 2026 averaged around 27.3K viewers over its two days, with peak viewership topping out at 102.4K. While the event may have had room to draw a larger online audience, its viewership was likely affected by major counter-programming, most notably the UEFA Champions League final, which also aired on May 30.

TwitchCon Rotterdam 2026 reached its viewership peak on May 30, driven largely by the event’s highly anticipated Minecraft competitions. Streams from the event generated more than 700K Hours Watched on that day alone, with Twitch accounting for most of the total. English was also the most-watched broadcast language by a wide margin.
By regional breakdown, channels from the US, UK, and South Korea led the event, with each country accounting for around 10% of total Hours Watched. Female-led channels generated the largest share of viewership at roughly 43% of total Hours Watched, ahead of male creators at around 39%. Organizational streams accounted for the remaining broadcast volume.
