On August 29, Monaco hosted the draw for the group stage of the UEFA Champions League 2024/25. This event generated significant excitement among football fans, as the upcoming tournament will feature a new format. UEFA did not provide an official broadcast on streaming services, but many popular content creators and sports media outlets streamed the draw on their channels. In total, these broadcasts attracted over 1.5 million viewers simultaneously.

In addition to the draw itself, another highlight of the event was the presentation of a special award to Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese forward was recognized as the all-time leading scorer in the Champions League, having scored 140 goals in 183 matches and having been the top scorer of the tournament a record seven times.

Overall, the UEFA Champions League 2024/25 draw broadcasts accumulated 1.3 million Hours Watched. The average online viewership was 963,100 viewers across all channels, with a peak of over 1.5 million viewers. The highest number of viewers were recorded on DjMaRiiO's channel, a popular YouTuber and a major football fan, who is also an ambassador for Kings League. His stream reached a peak of 250,500 concurrent viewers. The remaining top five positions were occupied by sports media channels.

The broadcasts in Spanish generated the most HW during the draw, accounting for 38% of the total watch time. The top three languages also included English and French, though their combined result was still less than the Spanish broadcasts achieved. When it comes to platforms, YouTube dominated, with nearly 90% of the audience tuning in through the red platform, which saw a peak of 1.36 million viewers.

The first matches of the UEFA Champions League 2024/25 will begin on September 17, with the final scheduled to take place at Munich's Allianz Arena on May 31, 2025.
