About WARDOGS
WARDOGS is a large-scale tactical first-person shooter developed by British studio BULKHEAD and published by Team17. Inspired by the King of the Hill formula, it divides up to 100 players into three teams fighting for randomized control zones across a vast, destructible battlefield. Combat combines infantry gunplay with vehicles, logistics, base building, and local voice communication.
Its defining feature is a persistent cash economy. Players begin with $10,000, earn more through combat, revives, transportation, and objective play, and spend it on weapons, equipment, and vehicles. Cash carries over between matches, rewarding support roles and making every purchase a strategic decision.
WARDOGS entered Steam Early Access on September 10, 2026. BULKHEAD expects the Early Access period to last around one to two years, although no exact full-release date has been announced. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions are planned for 2028.
