The FPS Games Show 2026 was livestreamed on September 3 as the first-ever collaborative, developer-led online showcase dedicated entirely to first-person shooter games. Hosted by Bulkhead Interactive, it reached 232.4 Peak Viewers, according to Streams Charts, as fans saw major updates and trailers for titles like WARDOGS, Rainbow Six Siege, and Escape from Tarkov.

The FPS Games Show 2026 was livestreamed across multiple platforms, generating almost 183.7 million Hours Watched across these broadcasts. It peaked at 232,489 viewers at the end of the stream, when WARDOGS, a tactical all-out warfare first-person shooter, was revealed.

As many as 218 unique broadcasting channels from across the world covered this livestream, with Twitch channels contributing to over 77% of the watch time. Top community streamers included Michael "shroud" Grzesiek, Bryce "hutchmf" Hutchinson, Timothy "TimTheTatman" Betar, and Herschel "DrDisRespect" Beahm IV, with many of these prominent personalities multistreaming the showcase across platforms.

While the FPS Games Show 2026's viewership might not have reached the levels of industry-leading showcases from Sony and Nintendo, it was still a solid debut effort from organizer Bulkhead Interactive, the team behind WARDOGS. First-person shooter remains one of the most popular and followed genres, and dedicating a separate event to it will only draw bigger crowds with each iteration.

Rainbow Six Siege — Operation Split Fire

Organizers revealed the Year 11 Season 3 update, Operation Split Fire, introducing the defender Noor, targeted map updates for Villa, and a drone racing event called Wasteland Circuit. The mid-season update includes a stack of other content and went live on September 1.

Escape from Tarkov — Battlestate Games Publishing

Rather than a standard gameplay trailer for Escape from Tarkov, Battlestate Games dropped a major industry announcement: it's expanding beyond development to become a video game publisher. Backed by a decade of experience building their world-class extraction shooter, the studio aims to use its platform to help other developers bring their games to market.

SCUM — August Update

SCUM took the spotlight with a brand-new trailer highlighting its massive evolution over the last 12 months. The showcase served as the perfect platform to display the game's signature chaotic energy — blending ferocious wildlife, intense tactical combat, and an expansive open-world environment. The August Update is also live with mutant bears, Master Hunter rewards, Heatless Cooking, and expanded Food Effects.

WARDOGS —  Launch trailer

WARDOGS, developed by event host Bulkhead, dropped its highly anticipated launch trailer during the showcase. After drawing hundreds of thousands of players during its massive beta playtests, the shooter is confirmed to release into Steam Early Access on September 10. To celebrate the impending launch, the studio announced a community clip competition with a massive $100,000 real-cash jackpot. Players can secure their share of the cash prize pool simply by capturing and sharing their best, funniest, or most cinematic gameplay moments using the official event tags.
