Insiders rightly guessed the theme of the new expansion: as it was mentioned in numerous leaks, the expansion will be about dragons. Along with the new race dracthyr (dragons that can change into humans) the game will have a new class Evoker with three specializations (melee and ranged combat, as well as a healer). Moreover, the developers will add a new continent, the Dragon Isles, consisting of five zones.
As part of the update, Blizzard will also present an updated talent system made up of two trees. The maximum level of characters will increase from 60 to 70, and Blizzard will also significantly redesign the overall game interface.
The main broadcast of the expansion announcement was held on the Warcraft Twitch channel. The stream was on air for a little over an hour and in that time amassed over 99.6K Hours Watched and attracted 74.7K Average Viewers. The stream reached 100.9K Peak Viewers, and the number of Unique Viewers was 164.6K.
The official broadcast from Blizzard became the second most popular on Twitch. It was significantly outpaced by one of the main streamers of the game — Asmongold. His broadcast was watched by almost 200K Peak Viewers. Other channels that broadcast Dragonflight announcement were much less popular: the top 5 included Spanish streamers elxokas and Rubius, as well as the captain of the Team Liquid's guild — Maximum.
