Elden Ring’s bosses have fallen once again — this time in an epic marathon run by popular Twitch streamers Din “Agent00” Muktar and Emily “ExtraEmily” Zhang. The duo kicked off a joint stream on August 5 and kept it going non-stop until they beat the game together in co-op mode. The challenge took them a full week to complete.
The marathon aired simultaneously on both of their channels, pulling in a combined total of about 6 million watch hours. Agent00’s channel took the lead in average viewership, while ExtraEmily claimed the top spot for peak concurrent viewers.
The playthrough was anything but smooth — the duo racked up over 1,440 deaths before finally taking down the last boss. Just to defeat the boss Malenia, it took them almost an entire day. At the end of the marathon, ExtraEmily was moved to tears, while Agent00 delivered a heartfelt speech to the audience. The two then headed to a café with their production team and friends to celebrate the achievement.
After finishing Elden Ring, the streamers kept the broadcast going for several more hours, reflecting on the toughest moments of the run and sharing their emotions with viewers. Both admitted they’d been longing for their big, comfy beds, a proper shower, and a well-earned break from gaming. Still, with fans already clamoring for another marathon, it looks like their downtime won’t last long.
The Elden Ring marathon propelled Agent00 to the top of Twitch’s most-watched streamers for the week of August 5–11, with ExtraEmily securing fourth place. This was no small feat, given the heavy competition from esports channels and streamers showcasing the Battlefield 6 beta.
Looking at just the weekend numbers, from August 8 to 10, Agent00 and ExtraEmily claimed the top two spots among all streamers in watch hours. They outperformed several big names in the scene, including Marc Robert “Caedrel” Lamont, Zack “zackrawrr” Hoyt (aka Asmongold), Michael “shroud” Grzesiek, and more.
