Amazon-owned Twitch platform banned Amazon Prime channel for nudity

Amazon-owned Twitch platform banned Amazon Prime channel for nudity
Share:

On December 19, Twitch blocked the Spanish channel Prime Video, owned by Amazon. It is worth nothing that Amazon is the owner of the streaming platform. The channel was banned due to the behavior of host Enar Alvarez during the show Esto es un late on December 15.

Alvarez wanted to end the stream as soon as possible and was willing to show her breasts to get the channel blocked so the show would finally come to an end. Jokes are jokes, but the woman pulled her clothes up too high and her naked breasts were caught on camera. The director of the broadcast tried to prevent this by showing a splash screen, but failed.

It should be noted that this stream was the most watched of all the Esto es un late show episodes on the channel. The broadcast was watched by 5.8K Peak Viewers and 3.8K Average Viewers. At the same time, the previous episodes of this show featuring Enar Alvarez have rarely reached more than 2.5K Peak Viewers.

No one knows how long the ban will last. Twitter users call the incident "a friendly fire" and wonder how easily Amazon can ban its own channel. Looks like the rules about banning NSFW content on Twitch are the same for everyone, even the platform's owners.
