On August 3rd, Apex Legends has launched the Emergence anniversary game season. This expansion added a new character and a ranked Arena mode. Streams Charts compared the viewership results for the first week of Season 10 on Twitch with results of previous seasons.
Currently, the Emergence season shows the best results in terms of Hours Watched one week after release – 23.7M. The previous season (Legacy) reached the mark of 20M Hours Watched instead. It should be noted, that there was a drop in terms of Hours Watched between Season 7 and Season 9, while Season 6 (Boosted) had the lowest results, with only 7.9M Hours Watched.
When checking the results of Season 10 on a daily basis, it is the second day that reaches the highest Hours Watched mark of 4.3M. Both the third and fourth days were staying on the mark of 3.3M Hours Watched. The fifth and sixth days have shown a slight decrease: 2.6M Hours Watched, followed by an increase at the end of the week: 3.2M Hours Watched.

NICKMERCS became the most popular Emergence streamer with 2.5M Hours Watched in 46 hours of airtime. This month, Nick Kolcheff switched from his usual Warzone category to new titles. The second spot went to TimTheTatman with 1.4M Hours Watched. Meanwhile, xQcOW collected 1.1M Hours Watched in just 17 hours of airtime.
In terms of Peak Viewers, TimTheTatman took the lead, attracting 139K viewers. The second spot went to xQcOW with 86K viewers. Closing the top 3 was the popular Apex Legends streamer from Japan, stylishnoob4 – gathering 82K viewers on the broadcast.
Overall, the Emergence expansion has performed well enough in terms of viewership statistics to outmatch all the past seasons. Let’s see whether this interest in the game shall hold up for long, and whether Apex Legends makes it into the top categories of the month.
