ARC Rаiders launched on October 30 to much anticipation. This new third-person extraction shooter from the Korean-Japanese studio Embark Studios (Nexon Co., Ltd.) was met with excitement from both gamers and streamers. On launch day alone, streams of ARC Rаiders drew hundreds of thousands of viewers across streaming platforms, quickly making it the most-watched game category on Twitch.
ARC Raiders takes place in a distant future where deadly "ARC" robots have taken over Earth’s surface, forcing humanity to live underground. Some residents of the underground city of Speranza, known as "raiders," venture to the surface, or "the topside," to scavenge resources to sell. The game features PvPvE gameplay and can be played solo or in teams of two or three. ARC Raiders is reminiscent of games like Escape from Tarkov, but with a more futuristic setting that evokes a Star Wars–like vibe.
ARC Raiders Viewership Statistics in Livestreaming
Just before its official launch, ARC Raiders’ developers hosted a small open event called Server Slam, allowing anyone to join and test the game servers’ stability. The event propelled ARC Raiders to second place in Twitch’s game category rankings, and the game’s popularity has only grown since. According to Steam, over 264,600 players were online simultaneously on release day.
On October 30, the ARC Raiders category on Twitch racked up over 4.3 million hours watched. By comparison, the three-day Server Slam event drew 6.2 million hours watched. The game also topped Twitch in average viewers and peak channel count. Its peak concurrent viewership was second only to the League of Legends category, which was airing the 2025 World Championship quarterfinals.

Several top Twitch streamers featured ARC Raiders on their channels. The game’s high viewership was also boosted by Twitch Drops, which allowed viewers to earn exclusive emotes and keychains simply by watching streams.
The top streamer rankings for ARC Raiders remained largely unchanged compared to Server Slam. Canadian streamer Michael “Shroud” Grzesiek continued to hold the most-watched channel spot, as he regularly covers new shooter releases. The top 10 also featured Ben “CohhCarnage” Cassell, Timothy “TimTheTatman” Betar, Saqib Ali “LIRIK” Zahid, Jaryd “summit1g” Lazar, and others. While Zack “zackrawrr” Hoyt had the highest peak concurrent viewers, we excluded him from the ranking since he played for less than 1.5 hours. On YouTube, Herschel “DrDisRespecT” Beahm IV drew a large audience, and on Kick, the Turkish streamer Ferit “wtcn” Karakaya led in viewership.

Top ARC Raiders streamers
4.3 million hours watched on launch day is an impressive achievement for ARC Raiders. With figures like this, the game would have easily ranked among the top 10 most popular new releases of previous quarters — even though those rankings are based on the first WEEK of data, not just a single day. ARC Raiders has a strong chance of becoming the biggest release of Q4 and could even make the year-end overall ranking. We’ll know for sure very soon.
