German streamer Arda Saatçi’s ongoing Route 66 endurance marathon has become top-tier Twitch content in early May, peaking at over 135,000 live viewers, according to Streams Charts.
The event, titled Ultra 600 as part of the Cyborg Season marathon series and sponsored by Red Bull, has already become the most popular livestream he has ever produced, even though it has just started.
What is Arda Saatçi's Ultra 600 endurance marathon?
Ultra 600 is a multi-day endurance marathon project covering the historic Route 66 corridor. The format is simple in concept and brutal in execution: continuous long-distance running under tightly tracked conditions, streamed live with real-time metrics and constant audience visibility.
Backed in part through Red Bull’s media ecosystem, Ultra 600 is designed less as a traditional race and more as a sustained test of physical and mental endurance packaged as high-intensity livestream content.
The current event is the third installment of the Cyborg Series, organized by Arda Saatçi, a German-based endurance creator working at the intersection of sport, streaming, and performance art. The first two marathons, held in France and Japan, were already strong audience drivers, but the ongoing one has gone fully viral, also topping Twitch’s peak viewership charts in early May 2026.
How did Arda Saatçi's marathon perform on Twitch?

In under two days, the streamer has already accumulated over 850,000 hours of watch time, maintaining an average audience above 44,000 concurrent viewers. On day one, the event peaked at more than 135,000 live viewers, setting a new personal record for Saatçi, more than double his previous best from a New York run two years ago.
Additionally, in just under two days, Saatçi’s channel has grown by 35% in followers, adding 185,000 new followers. This is also the highest growth figure on Twitch in early May 2026, excluding artificially boosted follow counts from viewbotting.

What is striking is that this kind of content has become the most popular on Twitch, a platform primarily focused on gaming and casual streaming, in terms of peak concurrent viewership.
Excluding clear cases of viewbotting, Arda Saatçi is currently the most popular creator on the platform, surpassing his industry peer Gianmarco “Tumblurr” Tocco (also a Red Bull creator) as well as several other streamers, including fellow German creator Elias “EliasN97” Nerlich.
At this point, Saatçi has already completed 96 km, with roughly five times that distance still ahead over the next three-plus days. The hardest stretch is still ahead, and the numbers are only going one direction for now.
