The second season of the entertainment show Parasocial, hosted by popular streamer Mizkif from the One True King community, has recently ended on Twitch. Streams Charts has calculated the number of viewers on his broadcasts and named the most popular episodes of the show.
Parasocial features streamers from the OTK community and other popular creators. Mizkif usually divides them into teams and offers to participate in quizes. In one episode, guys compete against girls; in another, Twitch streamers compete against YouTube streamers, and so on. The teams take turns answering questions and earn points for correct answers. However, winning this show is not the main thing — participants simply socialize, joke, and entertain viewers and themselves.
The second season of Parasocial started on April 19 with a battle between popular VTubers and Degens. The last episode was released on May 24, when "athletes" and "nerds" competed in a quiz. There were a total of six episodes, featuring Alinity, xQc, ExtraEmily, Sodapoppin, Tectone, Emiru, JenFoxxx, Esfand, Andrea Botez, Kyedae, Erobb, and other popular streamers.
Parasocial Season 2 viewership statistics
In total, the broadcasts of Parasocial Season 2 accumulated 422.5K Hours Watched. The Average Viewers number during the shows was 26.8K, and the Peak Viewers number reached 47K people. It is worth noting that the most popular episodes were the first and the last ones. In the first show, Neuro-Sama, a popular AI-generated female VTuber, played for the team of VTubers, while many viewers came to see xQc’s performance in the last episode.
During the Parasocial broadcasts, Mizkif's viewers left about 468.8K messages in the chat. The number of active chatters was about 24.5K people, which accounts for approximately 10.7% of all viewers of the broadcast. The most popular emote during the show was "wubby7" from PaymoneyWubby's channel, which received 53K mentions as Wubby gave correct answers to questions. The Top-5 emotes by this metric also includes OMEGALUL, LUL, TriHard, and exemClap (the emote from ExtraEmily channel, who participated in two episodes).
Female VTuber Snuffy became the most popular participant in Parasocial Season 2. Her name was mentioned in Mizkif's chat over 5K times. In second place by this metric is streamer ExtraEmily, who participated in two episodes and received 4.6K mentions. It is worth noting that four participants from the first episode of the show, Snuffy, Neuro-Sama, Vei, and Lacari, made it into the Top-10 by mentions.
Compared to the first season, the number of viewers for Parasocial decreased almost by half. During the first season, the Average Viewers number on Mizkif's streams was just over 50K, and the Peak Viewers number was 93.2K people. Those episodes had a similar format but a slightly different lineup of participants. For example, they included Amouranth, Ironmouse, Asmongold, Adin Ross, QTCinderella, Pokimane, Disguised Toast, and other streamers who did not participate in the second season.
OTK and streamers from the community regularly host entertaining events on Twitch. Among them are the Trash Talk tournament series, Island of Riches, Friendsgiving, Elevated, Loot Goblins, SMITE, League of Legends, and other title competitions.
On June 10, the community streamers will hold an online festival, OTK Game Expo 2023, during which they will present new games from independent developers and small studios. Asmongold, Emiru, and Esfand will host the event and, together with guests, discuss gaming novelties, trailers, and demo versions of future titles. The event stream will be available on Asmongold's Twitch channel.
