The second-round presidential election debate in Brazil, the world's fifth-largest country by area and sixth most populous, took place on October 17. This election is being called one of the most important in the last decade — and not only for Brazil itself, since the main presidential candidates are polar opposites with a lot at stake.

A total of 11 candidates ran in the election, but the Liberal Party leader Jair Bolsonaro and the leader of the left-wing Workers' Party Lula da Silva (former president of Brazil) advanced to the second round. According to the results of the first round, they received 43.2% and 48.4% of the vote, respectively. The second round of presidential election takes place on October 30. Many people in Brazil are afraid about this election: some believe that if Bolsonaro loses, he may follow Donald Trump's example, declare the election results rigged and attempt a coup d'état.
The second round of debates was broadcast on the Brazilian news agency Band Jornalismo's YouTube channel and lasted just over two hours. In that time it accumulated almost 2.9 million Hours Watched and drew 1.3 million Average Viewers. The Peak Viewers number of 1.94 million people was reached at the end of the broadcast. This result has become a record for the channel and the stream took eighth place in the Top most popular broadcasts in 2022.
It should be noted that the broadcast of the first round of debates at the time of publication holds the tenth position in the ranking with a result of 1.55 million PV. The most popular stream in 2022 is the Apple Event on September 7, which attracted 3.7 million PV. Second place belongs to the Law & Crime Network channel with its final broadcast of the trial between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard, which was watched by 3.5 million PV. Ibai (the only Twitch representative in the top 10) with the broadcast of his boxing show LA VELADA DEL AÑO II, drawing more than 3.3 million PV, rounds out the Top 3.
