Update: CodeMiko has been unbanned the day after the block.

CodeMiko, who’s known for one of the most detailed avatars among Twitch vtubers, got forth ban on the platform on June 6. As suggested, her last stream violated TOS, namely, the nudity clause, as CodeMiko demonstrated a blurred naked version of her avatar.

Considering the stream’s title “CODEMIKO MIGHT GET BANNED TODAY”, she definitely knew that it is dangerous to show off NSFW content. It's unclear how long the ban will last; Miko’s streamer friend JustaMinx suggests that it might take a month for Miko to come back to streaming.

In May, CodeMiko amassed 164K Hours Watched with average online of 2.8K viewers. Her most popular stream peaked at 6.2K concurrent viewers who watched Miko cosplay Jinx from Arcane TV series.

Miko's real name is Youna Kang; she came up with an idea of virtual image during her work for Nickelodeon. Youna decided to focus on streaming during the pandemic in 2020 and started to get more recognizable in 2021 thanks to viral videos on reddit and Twitter.

In January 2022, Miko joined Team Envy as a content creator, and two month later reached a personal record of 25K Peak Viewers during the 'CodeMiko 3.0' presentation. Her Twitch followers count is close to hit 900K, and YouTube channel is followed by over 400K people.

It was earlier reported that Twitch plans on improving the ban process by making it more transparent. Read more about possible changes here.
