As June is over, it's time to take a look back and name the most popular esports communities on Twitch for the month. Luminosity Gaming remains the leader in terms of Hours Watched, while the representatives of T1, who held the second position in May, didn’t even make it to the top 10 this time.

Most popular communites of esports teams on Twitch

Disclaimer: The ranking is based on the total number of hours spent by viewers watching Twitch streamers who are representatives of a particular esports community. Esports tournament statistics have not been included in the rankings.

Luminosity Gaming became the most popular esports community on Twitch in June 2022. The club's streamers collectively accumulated 24.5 million Hours Watched for the month — 13% less than in May. The biggest contributor to this result was traditionally xQc, with 20.7 million Hours Watched (-14%). The top 3 most watched Luminosity streamers in June also were ShivFPS (1.1 million Hours Watched) and NickEh30 (900K Hours Watched).

Team SoloMid streamers made a slight gain last month and surpassed their May result by 15%, generating 17.1 million Hours Watched. The most successful content creator was American TSM_ImperialHal with his regular Apex Legends streamers. He accumulated 4.8 million Hours Watched in the past month, that was a 40% increase over May. Canadian Buddha is second in terms of Hours Watched — 2.3 million (+22%) in GTA VRed Dead Redemption 2 and other games. As a reminder, at the end of May TSM was in third place following Luminosity and T1.

The third place in the ranking was taken by Cloud9. During June, the community's streamers collectively accumulated about 13.1 million Hours Watched — 52% more than in May. At that time, the club held only eighth place in the top 10. The biggest contributor to C9's result was American k3soju with his Teamfight Tactics streamers. The American spent 310 hours on air (+345%) in a month and generated 4.3 million Hours Watched (+512%).

Brazil's LOUD is in fourth position, with 10.9 million Hours Watched in June. Recall that by the May results the club was in seventh place with 9.20 million Hours Watched. The biggest impact in the LOUD result was from GTA V streamers — loud_coringa (5.1 million Hours Watched) and gabepeixe (3.3 million Hours Watched). They improved their May results by +22% and +47% respectively.

Team Liquid retained its fifth place in the ranking, although it accumulated less number of Hours Watched in June (10.5 million) than in May (12.7 million). The most active streamer of the community for the month was German qojqva with Dota 2 broadcasts. He accumulated 683K Hours Watched (-26%). Brazilian Rakin was second in effectiveness with 614K Hours Watched (-49%).

Japanese squad DeToNator has risen straight into the top 6 following the results of June, although it was outside the top 10 in May. This huge leap became possible thanks to fps_shaka and his community casting of VCT 2022: Japan Stage 2 Challengers by Valorant. The streamer accumulated 9.7 million Hours Watched out of the 10.3 million that the whole community generated for the month.

NRG Esports was ranked fourth by the May results but dropped to seventh in June as the club's streamer total fell from 13.6 million Hours Watched to 9.8 million. This was partly due to a drop in activity among the leaders: aceu accumulated just little more than 2 million Hours Watched — 46% less than in May. Sweetdreams, Clix and AussieAntics also lost from 30% to 50%. The only club leader who showed growth in June was sodapoppin with 1.3 million Hours Watched (+178%).

The eighth place in June was taken by the streamers FaZe Clan. They accumulated 7.1 million Hours Watched during the month, which is 29% less than in May. NICKMERCS traditionally remains the main media engine of the community. He streamed Apex Legends for the most part, generating 3.5 million Hours Watched (-33%) — half of what the community showed for the month.

Japanese club ZETA DIVISION has risen by one line during the month, although its total Hours Watched fell from 7 million to 6.6 million. The most successful streamers in June were k4sen (3.5 million) and stylishnoob4 (2.1 million). They entertained their audience mainly with Rust broadcasts.

Streamers Sentinels rounded out the top 10. In June they received 11% more than in May — about 6 million Hours Watched. The most productive content creator was Saintone, who accumulated 1.1 million Hours Watched (-10%) playing Lost Ark. He is followed closely by ShahZaM39daph and sinatraa who also gathered 1 million Hours Watched mainly thanks to the Valorant streamers.
